「It was conveniently located to places we were visiting.」

「There was poop behind the toilet and what it seemed to look like vomit behind the tv dresser. Not sure what it was exactly but assuming its pet friendly I would like to think it was cat or dog poop」

「The property is not well maintained. There was what appeared to be a large blood stain on the comforter, an old donut under the heater, and broken toilet seat. The property overall is very worn and dirty. The staff were polite. But I would not recommend staying here.」

「To be frank, we were skeptical pulling into Estherville about how nice the hotel might be. We were very pleasantly surprised at how updated and clean the hotel is. Very nice pool and hot tub, breakfast was on the simpler side but did not disappoint. Staff was polite and helpful. We would absolutely stay here again!」

「My room was super clean. For an older motel it was painted and fresh and new looking and I live parking right in front of my door. The property had baskets of flowers at each door which were stunning. A wonderful touch and the pricing was extremely good considering being the the lakes area of NW Iowa. Will definitely recommend to others and stay again when I'm in the area.」

「If you like a firm board mattress this is the place for you. Ice machine was broken. Breakfast was nasty. I would not book again.」

「They charge for ESA animals a 30$ fee per day. Only hotel I’ve ever stayed at in 6 years to ever charge me a fee. Room was clean. Tv channels only worked half the time. Jets in hot tub were broken. The pool was warm though that was nice. And the east building walls were thin could hear above us and next door.」

「The staff was very welcoming and available. We enjoyed a drink at the bar later in the evening. The bartender ensured we were happy with our drinks! The breakfast room was a long way from our room and there was a problem with the decaf coffee - a minor inconvenience. The pool was even further away but, we ended up with no extra time to swim anyway. Our rooms were comfortable and clean.」

「The resort itself was ok. The weather was off and on with rain. The afternoon that we checked in was beautiful, so we were terribly disappointed to find the outdoor water park closed. The next day, they were open, but the weather was cool and it rained off and on. Just not a great experience. We had a suite next to us with children that were screamers. Our room was clean, but the armoire was old and rattled when we walked around. The shower was noisy. Overall, they simply need to update and fix...
