"Thread bare pillows, bars on the windows, traffic all night, no shampoo (did find some used ones under the bathroom sink), not a great neighborhood, didn't feel very safe. Price was way too high for what it is. LONG walk to town. It was connected to the owners house, like a garage turned into a room for rent. Will probably NOT book through Vrbo again because of this listing. taxi had hard time finding place and charged $60 to get there from airport. I applaud the owners for trying to make money...

"One of the worst experience! Bath tub drain was extremely slow and notified the manager the following day. He said he would have someone fix it but never did. We stayed there for 3 nights, having to deal with water backing up and felt very gross after taking shower. Dirty, gross bedsheet on the sofa bed. Questionable neighborhood. Definitely would not recommend!"

"We'll definitely stay again! The owner was sooo accomodating. We had an early morning flight the day of check in and was super tired. They obliged us and allow us to check in early....this alone was 10/5 stars. The property was quaint, clean, cozy, AC was sooo appreciated due to heat. Everything you need was available at this property. We were only here overnight but the first impressions were lasting."

"Dawson's hideaway was a nice place to stay, the owner was very pleasant and welcoming. There are quite a lot of places within the area to walk to, like places to eat, bars and the mall is just a short ways away. A nice well kept yard with fruit trees that provided a lot of shade from the sun. I would recommend traveling with mosquito repellent for the evening to avoid mosquito bites. we purchased from the pharmacy on the corner. My husband, myself and our daughter traveled and stayed for 3 night...
