“Very cute cottage that sits on a farm. You can watch the goats and sheep while sipping coffee on the front porch. The cottage is modern with a nice bed, big modern bathroom, and a mini kitchenette with table, keurig, mini fridge, and microwave. The room is not very big though so it would be best for solo travelers or couples. The place is an easy 8 minute drive from Staunton shops and restaurants. I’d definitely stay again for the ambiance, nature, and charm.”

Do note that the bedrooms are stocked with fans and space heaters but do not have HVAC or mini splits, so when the temperature plunged overnight my 9 month old woke up crying from cold and then when we tried to plug in the space heater, it blew the fuse. “Had a great stay here during a weekend of hiking. The cabin is incredibly nice inside and out. The hot tub was clutch after the hikes. Friend especially loved the bathroom amenities (heated floor, heated towel rack). I do feel like there could be some areas of improvement with cleaning as all the picture ledges, lamp shades and some of the walls have layers of dust and I’m not sure if the place was swept or vacuumed before we came.
