Your charming cottage in Essonne

Located in the heart of the Village of Milly-la-Forêt and only 45 minutes from Paris (59km), close to shops and the Market Hall, this farmhouse from 1890 has been completely renovated and redecorated to welcome you with all the modern comfort. Being able to accomodate up to 5 people, entirely new and furnished with taste, you will appreciate its living room of 25m2 giving on the large terrace in closed of wall. Fully equipped, American kitchen. On both sides of the apartment 2 very large rooms of 19m2 and 21m2 (one of which equiped with a third bed). Spacious bathroom with double sink and walk-in shower.(please note that bedsheets furniture and cleaning upon departure are extra cost)

spacious and well equipped apartment with great terrace

I spent 4 nights with friends in Milly for climbing in the Fontainebleau Forest. The apartment was just perfect for us - spacious, well equipped kitchen (with dishwasher), five comfortable single beds and a great terrace to spend the evenings chilling after climbing. The location of the house is very good - all the great climbing spots in Trois Pignons can even be reached by bike (~8km) or in a couple of minutes by car. The house was clean and tidy and equipped with care. Easy check-in and check-out procedure (key safe at the house). Contact with the owner was quick and easy and always very friendly. I would definitly stay there again - clear recommendation!

Exceptional

We spent a month in this apartment and it was wonderful! The apartment is bright and airy with a lovely secluded patio off the main room. It is in an excellent location with a short walk to the center of town where there are many shops, bakeries, and a grocery store. Numerous bouldering areas are within a 15 minute drive. The apartment appears to have been recently remodeled with very new appliances. It was very clean. Communication with Frederic was easy and he was very responsive. He speaks fluent English (and several other languages) and is highly organized. He provides binders with instruction manuals for the appliances in multiple languages as well as posted information about trash and other details. He goes out of his way to ensure you have a pleasant stay. This home is unique from many other homes I have rented in that there may be fees at the end or your stay. However, these fees are very clear up front and are reasonable. I like that he allows you to clean the apartment prior to leaving to avoid the cleaning fee if you choose. In addition, he provides new linens (for a fee) if you do not bring your own. The only con we found to this apartment is there is some street noise as it is located on a main road. I look forward to my next visit. Thank you for a lovely stay Frederic!
