Advertised as one thing (apparently Hotels.com won’t let me say what, so I have had to re word my initial complaint), when I checked in, I was given something completely different. Suffice to say, when I booked I was not expecting to be staying in a bedroom in someone’s house. Unable to get a refund dispute the proof I supplied that the booking was misrepresented. He did not respond to messages and an email and failed to pick up the phone. Finally, VRBO had to refund my money on the day and I had to find alternative accommodation.”
