Girls weekend!

We had a girls weekend and this cabin was so perfect for us! Plenty of room and very clean! Dean was so responsive and made sure everything was perfect for us! We will be back next year!!!

The barndominium was perfect for a family gathering. Plenty of space for little ones to run around inside. The property was well maintained and the hosts were extremely responsive to our needs. There is access to Lake Miltona about 1 block away. We didn’t have time to try out the lake this visit but maybe next time. The only thing that would have been nice is another bathroom, we got by with 5 adults and 2 kids but a larger group might struggle a bit. Otherwise, it was a lovely quiet spot to relax.

Lake weekend

We rented the Copper Lodge for a girls weekend on the lake, it was the perfect place for all eight of us. Plenty of space. Close to the public boat launch, which was great for our pontoon rental. Great communication with property owners and great information for things around the area! Would definitely recommend.

Perfect

My son and I needed lodging close to our hunting land and Copper Lodge was a perfect fit. The outside of the lodge very clean and provided more than enough parking. The inside was very clean and organized the main great room with large sectional, TV, Bose Speakers, and coffee bar provided us with all our needs. Bedroom in the kitchen would be our only slight negative feedback. If you're with your family, it no big deal however if you're not with family some people may not like this arrangement. It did not bother us. Thank You Copper Lodge and Dean!! very good Communication reached out a few times to ensure everything was okay.

Weekend away with my boys

Nice place to say with my sons. The ceiling in the loft is pretty low but the beds are comfortable. The kitchen area is small and in a hallway by the bedrooms and bathroom. But it does have most everything needed. Using the blackstone flat top was very nice. Large main area is a nice gathering area for large groups. It was convenient to family we have in the area.

Family Summer Gathering

We loved our stay at Copper Lodge! The checkin process was seamless and the location was great! We did not realize that the one bedroom was a walk through to another bedroom, bathroom, and kitchen, however, that did not phase us as we are pretty easy going and not once woke up to anyone going to the bathroom or passing through at 6am to go fishing on the amazing lake! The lake water was crystal clear, seeing down at least 12 to 15 feet in some areas. We caught a variety of fish from sunnies, walley, small mouth bass, and even a northern. The lodge was stocked with the necessary items, toilet paper, towels, laundry detergent, pots, pans and a few spices for cooking and also some games. When it rained we were able to have an indoor karaoke party and bean bag tournament with room to spare! The fire pit was just down the short hill from the lodge and there was ample supply of wood and folding chairs if you happened to forget your own. Contact with the host was easy and timely. We had asked about where a certain beach was and they not only directed us to that, but also let us know where a sandbar was and other nearby attractions. The sandbar, by the way, was very awesome! I would highly recommend staying here, especially with a slightly larger group for daytime activities. No issues with neighbors as we respected their property and kept our noise level to a minimum, especially after 10pm. We have already booked for next year since we had such a wonderful experience!

Reunion

Great sleeping addition and lake access for our reunion to complement our house on the lake! Some suggestions: instructions for the TV App; add towel bars and hooks for wet towels; clean fire pit ashes to make it easier to get a fire going; Thanks a millluon! 😃

Copper Lodge

Overall we had a decent stay but encountered some problems. Our primary complaint is that the dock provided is very short compared to surrounding docks and is in shallow water, so we could not even get our boat over to the dock without it getting stuck in the sand. This made it so we could not dock our boat for the weekend which was very inconvenient and misleading based on the description of the dock provided by the host. Neighbors saw us struggling and were very rude to us, and also mentioned that this is not the first time this issue has come up with Copper Lodge guests in the past, yet it is still not disclosed in the listing. This was quite frustrating and would have been good to know before booking this property. Another complaint was the ceiling height in the loft. We knew it would be low, but it is lower than how it looks in the pictures so we only went up there to sleep because we couldn't walk without hitting our heads. Lastly, we appreciated the complementary firewood but it was wet upon arrival and we therefore could not start a fire. It'd be nice if it was covered in some way. Other than those things, the property was good - temperature was fine, blackstone was nice, dishes were provided, beds were comfortable, we enjoyed the games (cornhole, apples to apples, etc). If docking the boat is not important to you, then this property would still be a good option.

Review

The open space worked well for our family. The kitchen & bathroom right next to the bathroom made it very difficult for sleeping when others are still up. Especially for a little one. The picture of the lake is way off or a different location. The water by the dock is all weeds and not a nice Sandy beach as shown in the pictures. The pictures also don’t show the shed in the middle of a neighborhood.

Copper Coup Stay

We liked the property, it was a wonderful yard and plenty of room to stretch out, kids loved having the TV for late night watching. We were sad that we could not swim at the little beach and had to drive to beaches. Loved the Blackstone Grill and used it everyday, it was great to have to cook corn on the cob and the pasta dish we made one night. The kitchen needs more counter space and I would recommend a cart for the microwave and pizza oven if possible, also some larger bowls and a strainer would have been nice.

Family get a way

We had a great time - wish the weather was warmer to have been able to enjoy beautiful Lake Miltona more but overall a great week for all of us. Property and yard were big enough to accommodate our needs. Host was very quick to respond with all questions.

Amazing experience!!

We had such a wonderful stay at Copper Lodge! Very spacious and plenty of beds for our whole family. The lake is only a short walk away, the bean bag boards were an awesome amenity to have, we even played it indoors when it was raining. The host had extremely quick response time when I had questions, and very friendly. I feel as though Copper Lodge was very well stocked with basic things you would need while you're there. Our experience was just great overall and we would love to stay there again!

Our stay was great. VRBO app and online was down so we were unable to communicate with owner. Through some Google searching we located the place as we could not get the address without VRBO app and website working. This had nothing to do with place/owner though just a hiccup with VRBO. Used the Blackstone griddle for most meals. Went to many lakes and caught fish. Neighbors that we chatted were very welcoming. Super neat place to stay. There were two things that the owner was going to address right away but they did not interfere with our stay at all and didn’t affect me wanting to return. Great for our dog and she LOVED the lake Brought our boat and used the dock but didn’t have luck on Miltona. Many smaller lakes within a 15 mile radius that we did have luck on. It was also windy while we were there and the smaller lakes offered better wind protection than Miltona. Would definitely go back with the kids next time.

Easter Weekend Get-a-way

Derek was a great host who was quick to answer questions. Being a handicap accessible property was great. Overall this is a great spot to gather with family and/or friends. I would definitely recommend this rental.
