Nestled in the eclectic neighborhood of Riverwest, this cozy guest suite is the perfect location for travelers looking for a restful stay.
Close proximity to I-43 and downtown gives you complete access to all that Milwaukee has to offer!

Close to the city, but in a quiet neighborhood away from the hustle and bustle.
- Walkable to neighborhood bars, coffee shops, grocery stores, parks, and the Milwaukee River
- Less than a 10 minute drive to Downtown/Fiserv Forum, UWM, Columbia St. Mary’s, the Lakefront & Bradford Beach
- 5 minute drive to Brady St. & North Ave bars & restaurants
- Steps away from MCTS bus lines/public transportation

This is the upstairs unit of a duplex. You have your own private entrance at the back of the house, separate from the first floor.

**SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS**
- The spacious main bedroom has a queen size bed and blackout curtains to help ease your environment for a more restful sleep.

- The lofted sleepspace has a full size mattress, and is a wonderful spot to also meditate, read or just relax in solitude.

- The livingroom couch pushes together to make a sleeper sofa.

The TV is a Roku TV (no cable) but comes with entertainment apps & local television channels, and Wi-Fi connection is available upon arrival.

The kitchen is fully equipped with all of your basic cooking needs, along with dining table seating for 4.

-To help preserve the beauty and condition of the wood floors, we ask that everyone please remove their shoes upon entering. Feel free to bring your own slippers, socks or soft soled “indoor shoes” to wear inside :)

Please no smoking/vaping inside and/or no burning of any candles or incense.

**ATTENTION GUESTS WITH ALLERGIES**
There are cats that live on the premises, so if you have allergies or are sensitive to pets, please keep this in mind! (But they are not allowed upstairs near your unit)

Very cool spot for my brother and I in our 20s and 30s. Hip area, music, drinks, and food all close by. May not be the best fit for anyone with mobility issues, or who may be sensitive to wear-and-tear of old homes. I saw a previous review comment on some stains they saw - we saw the same thing, but it was clear that the place was very clean. Would stay here again, and made me wish I was younger and wishing to relocate to Milwaukee.

Fantastic location, but for what we paid in total, the value wasn't great. I'm not a typical negative review-leaver, so I will try to be as objective as possible.Stairs/entryway: Smelled mildewy/like there was maybe a mold issue, but there were many air fresheners to help cover it.Bathroom: Some mold/mildew on the caulking in the shower. Toilet wasn't secured to the floor as well as it should be, so the toilet would rotate a bit even when more gently sitting down/getting up. Faucet took a bit of strength to turn on.Living room/common: Couch seemed clean (no crumbs or residues), but was fairly stained so it didn't feel as clean.Kitchen: Stools were stained. Sink was slower to drain and faucet was a little loose and stream was erratic.Bedroom: One stain on fitted sheet. Only one blanket was provided in the room and it was a fairly thin throw.Lofted bed-space: Likely not a mattress, but was a mattress topper/pad. Also only a throw blanket was provided.Communication: I submitted a question when booking that was never responded to. Also, the water in the unit shut off unexpectedly at 10pm and after nearly an hour of no response to texts, I had to call to get a response. Water being off was the city's fault, but there was definitely a communication breakdown within the host/co-host system. However, I will say that the co-host genuinely seemed to care about figuring out how to help which I appreciated, and followed up in the morning to apologize for the trouble and check in.

We expected 2 bedrooms as the place was advertised. The "2nd bedroom" is an 8x8 loft space, with a 12-rung ladder to get to it, and the "mattress" was a thin pad no thicker than 4 inches, sunken to the floor, not suited for a dog. The place had strange smells too.

This place has a lot of potential, but the deceptive listing (including photos) and absolutely disgusting entrance make it totally unready for rental. Firstly, there were no shampoo, body wash, etc. There is no fireplace or balcony. The iron doesn’t work. The bathroom floor was dirty and the shower is very short, so if you’re tall beware. There are no top sheets, and when we asked the host, they didn’t respond besides telling us that there were sheets. The “mattress” in the loft doesn’t provide any support, you’re essentially sleeping on the floor. The worst part is the entrance. It is straight out of a house abandoned years ago. It is filthy. The musty smell from the stairway permeates the whole place. Do not stay here. We left after one night to stay in a hotel.

Well it was a bit scary when we first arrived. First time in Wisconsin we weren't to sure about the neighborhood. You walk around the side of the house and the backyard is overgrown. Once we entered, it got worse with moldy basement to your left and old carpeted stairs straight ahead. The walls and ceiling of the stairwell were carpeted as well. Once we walked into the unit, it got better. Very clean. The full size bed is just a thin matress on the floor though. We were able to walk to restaurants and bars. It was quiet at nite and we were able to park right on the street with no issues.

Summerfest '25

Me and 2 friends stayed over Summerfest weekend. As advertised. Neighborhood wasnt bad but also wasnt great, never felt unsafe though. Only recommendations i have is hang some binds in the skylights because the heat amd sunlight that is let in was pretty brutal. Also, a bigger air conditioner would help that situation as well.All in all, would stay again

Value stay

Overall a pleasant experience. Had trouble with entry to the unit and the host answered our late night phone call right away and helped us out. Entry way/yard is definitely not shown on the listing and can be deceiving- but inside the actual unit is nice and well kept.

Not as advertised

Communication with property owner/manager was poor. I asked a question months before arriving at the property and although I sent the message several times, I was never answered. I had planned to spend the week in the house relaxing while my husband attended meetings during the day. Due to the feel of the neighborhood and untidiness of the property, my husband didn’t feel safe leaving me alone in the house. Once inside the house, it was clean enough, but the first impression walking into the apartment could not be overcome. And the “”black lives matter” sign in the front of the home made me question if that meant “white lives also matter” or “I’d better be careful if I’m not black”. Not very welcoming.

Avoid renting this place, its awful

The place it doesnt look like in the pictures. The property is in poor conditions. The stairs of the entrance smell moldy, the host is hard to reach. it took her 3 days to answer me. There is not a lockbox to pick up the key. Shower is moldy, toilet its about to fall, bedroom door was about to fall and I couldnt close it. Kitchen sink handle was broken, it has a water filter that is broken and i couldnt use it. I had to call the host because the bathroom sink pipes was liking like crazy. She did resolved the problem but this shouldnt be on Vrbo.The apartment was freaking hot it was hard to sleep in there and I had to spend all day outside because there was no air conditioner. There is just one key for the place and it is not labeled. Host was angry because I arrived to drop my suitcase 30 minutes before the check in time. She is pretty rude. I took the wrong key because it was not labeled so I got locked out and waited 1hr for the locksmith to open the door, and another 40 minutes to get the apartment key. I lost my concert and everything was a nightmare. I would not recommend this place to anybody.

We really enjoyed our stay. We were there for a race and the location was not far from it (the art museum). Found the space clean, and welcoming. The only thing difficult was finding it. We arrived late at night so finding the house numbers were hard. Once we found the right house we weee able to get in easily. Great say. Cute loft. And quiet.

Great Stay

Ro was very helpful with everything we needed. Fun neighborhood with walkable food/drink options and a grocery store about .7mi away. The property itself cute if a little dated, overall a great value and fun stay.
