Great location for exploring Exmoor and lots of glorious walks from site. Nice to have a hot tub to soak/relax in especially as no bath in property. (I’m a light sleeper anyway , but found traffic road nose overnight annoying)

Photos do not do this place justice! We booked this holiday very last minute so weren't quite sure what we'd be getting, but it turned out to be a complex of cottages all nestled on beautiful grounds with lovely views. The cottage itself was very basic and needed some updating and a good clean, but it didn't spoil our enjoyment of the holiday, and from hearing other guests views it sounds like the larger apartments might be in better condition. We really enjoyed sitting on our private patio and sitting next to the ponies late in the evening. The site generally felt very peaceful, although there was occasional noise from the road, more noticeable in the early morning, and the walls must be very thin as every night there was constant loud snoring from another guest! Nothing of this spoiled our enjoyment though and we had a lovely time.
