The place was amazing, our room view was beautiful.. staff are approachable and thoughtful. They made our stay extra special by surprising us with a gift and card for our anniversary. The amenities are complete and accessible, rooms are clean and have a complete stuff. We would go backwards again.

Property is not ocean front. The units you will get as a suite will be a one bedroom overlooking the parking facility. Small windows allowing for lite illumination. You feel pressured at Check-in to commit to a presentation as your keys are not provided by the front desk agent but rather you're passed to a "concierge". This person's job it to get you to commit to a presentation and afterwards you're given you're room keys. Keys are wrist band style that show everyone you're a club member or guest. I don't find this safe at all. Staff is happy to see you at first and engages with you as you arrive. Once they can't overcome your objection, the mood changes. It's a decent place and location is walking distance to beach. Dining venues are somewhat close but not worth it beach front. Prices are high and quality is average at best. You're better not going to any of the "suggested" places and venture out to the main artery in HWY 98. Go to Grand Blvd if you want Hugh end venues.

This is a ownership vacation resort which we found out the hard way. Nothing mentions this when booking but when you get there to check in, the receptionist asks you to talk to the concierge before you get your keys. It starts out with here are some maps and restaurant recommendations etc then you quickly get told you are on the “owners guest list” to attend this 2 hour long meeting. They don’t say what for, just that you get a free gift. Well this whole thing turned into me constantly telling them I was not interested and they would not take no for an answer, they even said they wanted to talk to my wife about it and I said no. I was going to just tell them a time I was gonna go and not show up but they want a credit card for deposit on the “gift” This is insane, I’m on vacation, I’m not sitting in a non-mandatory sales pitch for 2 hours. They ultimately took us off the list and saying no about ten times. Other than that parking is good and beach access is great as well however the rooms look nothing like they do on the listing. What I thought was going to be a nice colorful clean room with a view turned out to be only gray and white, a dirty bathtub, a view of the parking garage, and air conditioning that only worked the last 3 hours in our room. It was constantly 76 inside. I would not stay here again, beach access is great but the stupid sales pitch, not as described rooms, and poor cleanliness and a no go for us.

The only thing I didn't like is check-in took way too long and the concierge tried so hard to pressure me into taking a tour of the premises after I said I wasn't interested so many times. Other than that I loved everything about it.

Hotels.com was a disaster
Stay was great! Booking it through hotels.com was a complete nightmare!!!! Went for my best friends sons funeral and hotels.com did not send my reservation over to the property. I almost ended up sleeping in my car as all the rooms were booked and had to pay for an additional 2 nights since they didn’t send my payment to the property. I would book elsewhere such as the actual hotel sites.

Hotels.com app lies. No free breakfast. No free parking ($10 for tag). The app says both are free. The app also says the property is "on the beach". It is NOT. It is across the highway from the beach. Accomodations are average. Not too old but not new enough to include any USB charging ports anywhere. Our windows looked out upon the walkway to rooms, so you can't leave your curtains open. Wyndham resorts then inundates you with sale pitches. Strongarmed into sales breakfast that you pay a $20 deposit. Cancel ASAP. Give fake phone number. Finally, I spent 20 minutes on writing a heartfelt review to help subsequent vacationers but when I tried to post that review, the app said I had taken too much time. Grounds look nice but it rained everyday we were here. Destin area is WAY too busy and pricey, even in off season.

Overall excellent... except....
The room, customer service, location, staff were perfect. Extremely nice all around. Love the guest services. The one thing that foiled the experience is the moment you check in, be prepared to be bombarded by aggressive sales representatives displaying aggressive car sales tactics to get you to buy time shares. I had 4 calls to my room in two days aggressively pushing “free 7 day 6 night stays” if I come and tour the property. That isn’t what I would call a standard vacation experience. My intention was to come here and relax/escape. So heads up, this added a little hiccup to what was otherwise a great place to stay. I highly recommend staying place but be polite and ignore these salesmen.

Great location!! Quick walk to the beach with great amentities such as 4 pools, gym, walking trail, and concierge. We would definitely stay here again! At first I was worried that I wouldn’t like the area, but it’s perfect for the whole family. Everything is conveniently located which helps a lot when you have toddlers.

Too small unit with no view #464
This review is for unit 464. Just stayed 2 nights and paid close to $800 for 2 adults and 2 kids in a 1 bedroom suite. This room has no view or balcony. Two windows face the open corridor for unit doors just like in a motel. LR had a bed sofa and once open the area that also doubles as kitchen is so small that it is claustrophobic. The last day LR fan light glass fell on my daughter, 20, when she pulled the switch. That gave us a scare. Luckily she seems to be fine. This unit is overpriced for what it offers and i would not even chose it had I known it would not have any view on top of parking lot. Pressured to attend a time share presentation also while checking in. The beach in front on a Friday was so overcrowded that it was unreal. Not possible to relax at all.

Registration staff was very friendly and helpful. This was not a full service hotel so we never reall saw any other staff. It was very quiet and clean.

It was a good hotel but unfortunately, on the day of our check in the water pipes had a problem and we were stuck in our rooms without water until 9 am in the morning. They compensated by moving us to a different room but all that was a hassle. Would have appreciated if they dealt with their problems with little effect on customers

Beware of room location when booking this hotel. I called the property specifically and asked if we were ocean front. They said yes, but upon checking in, we discovered our room was behind a tall building by the trash chute overlooking the parking deck...a far cry from a view of the beautiful Gulf Coast! Guest Services did NOTHING to appease us. Only after I contacted HOTELS.com were we moved to a better room for our last night. Their time share lure was annoying when checking in. In order to get our parking pass, we had to see the Timeshare sales staff who rattled off the prizes for attending a 90 minute meeting. UGH! We declined. Don't go barefoot!
Pro: excellent location, good size room with fridge and stove and microwave and kitchen utensils. Friendly staff Cons: grimy sticky floors through out. Poor water pressure in shower and sink. Also, did not like that we had to put money down to attend a timeshare meeting (which we did not attend) during check in (which took entirely too long). We were refunded the money on checkout but took close to 20 minutes and a trip to a different building.

Nice hotel across the street from the beach.
Karen at the front desk started our stay off great. The expedia description said jetted tub. That's only for deluxe condos. That was the only disappointing thing. Other than that our stay was there was good.

The picture makes it look like it's on the beach, but there is a road to cross. There are also 4 huge hotels blocking the view of the beach. The hotel parking lot was very empty, but we were put in a room with a view of the parking Garage, on the end of the floor. The noise was so loud from neighbors and water rushing through the pipes all day and night. Was it because we didn't agree to listen to their 90 minute sales pitch for Wyndham properties? I think so. Also, the "indoor" pool was in a neighboring building, not the one we stayed in.
