The view of the gulf was amazing! We would stay in one of the condos again, but one with a full kitchen. The condo was very tidy.

Great Spot

Everything about our stay was great. This place has all the amenities you want from a hotel with none of the check in hassle. We got in pretty late and were able to park and get into the room with ease. The location is great, it’s a short walk tot he beach and the building has a pool and a hot tub area right outside. In and out parking makes it easy to get to anything else you could want to see. Plus, the view is amazing. Would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful place

We loved the room and the location! It was perfect. Easy walk to the beach with great views! Only negative thing for the whole stay was the air conditioning didn’t work well. It was 74-77 average in the room the entire time.

Great access to the beach food and the accommodation where amazing.. the only negative thing I would say that it so minor, was the fridge didn’t have small freezer space nor get really cold. It would of been nice to have more than one trash bag for a night stay also possibly some beach chairs or maybe some beach towels.A little flexibility on the check in time would of been nice the 4 pm check in time when the unit was clearly empty would of made the stay much nicer

Lacked transparency.

Ideal location and view of the ocean. However, surprise to us upon arriving that the building was under renovation and the pool was closed our entire stay. Was a huge bummer seeing as we booked this property specifically because of the location and pool to use when not at the beach. (Traveling with a small child). This was not communicated to us ahead of time or anywhere in the listing. I’m big on honesty and transparency especially when it comes to someone’s money. Big red flag- Spend your money elsewhere.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Several things were a concern. AC was too loud, tub was difficult getting in and out, one coffee cup?, No cable for watching TV, Refrigerator was too small. You should refund us in part a refund for those inconveniences we endured. Our calls were not always answered. Although the room was clean I would not recommend this property to a friend.

Walk on the Beach...Our Wedding & Honeymoon

Reviewer Comments: Our condo was as it was pictured was clean & nice our view was amazing mostly as I imagined it to be.The only thing was that there was no front desk with associates for assistance but there was a number to call for assistance as needed that was helpful.I would recommend this property to my friends it's close to the beach nice atmosphere the people are very nice. We spent most of our time on the beach day & night fun in the water & laying on the beach looking at the moon & stars at night absolutely beautiful amazing memories as we got married (a couple miles down on the beach) & spent our honeymoon here we were so happy!!! We went to the Okaloosa pier it was an absolute amazing experience we seen the dolphins, crab,jellyfish,seagulls & a crane walked right up next to it best ever time seeing GODS awesome creations!! Thank you Vacation Haven for our wonderful experience!!!

Relaxing trip to destin

Destination Wedding

We were in town for a friend's destination wedding. Room was great. I must have misread the coffee description, it's a Keurig, not a coffeepot, but that was easily rectified. Bed was comfy and room was clean. Views were perfect. This is the 2nd time we've stayed at the Luau in SanDestin and it won't be the last.

Overall good stay!

Overall good experience; there were not very many luggage carts, we were on the 17th floor, so we had to make multiple trips to and from the car. I also think it would be helpful to notate on the listing that there is only a kitchenette in this unit, without a cook top or oven. The pool was very nice and access to the beach was easy, however the beach was very crowded. We still had a great time!

Nice view / disgusting carpet

The carpet is terribly gross, but the room did fantastic view! One of the hotel elevators was out of order apparently for weeks, making it a lengthy wait for getting to and from your room.

We couldn’t get into the condo when we arrived. The code we received didn’t work & we had to call the management company. We had to stand in the hall for about 20 minutes on the phone with them to get a code that worked. The suite didn’t have an ice maker as advertised in the listing. The small frig didn’t have a freezer section. We had to get ice in an adjacent building. The washer & dryer was old, a coin op & in the parking area of the building. We communicated before we traveled about a washer/dryer in the unit because the listing was not too clear about that. We were told in a message online that it was in the unit. The building was under renovation & the noise was loud inside & outside.

Absolutely terrible 0/10. Never would recommend.

The room was disgusting. Mildew on shower curtain, mold, water leaking spots that were painted over, lights not working, so much dust, items under bed that wasn’t even ours, out of AC for 24 hours and never got it fixed. Water went out, only one elevator working for 19 floors. No Wi-Fi working. Custom service help line as a joke.
