「For our first time experiencing a Ryokan Onsen as a family of 4, we wanted to experience one of the best in Kurokawa. And Gekkoju does not disappoint! The room was beautiful and spacious with a lot included. The staff helping us was super friendly and accommodating. The service and food was amazing. The indoor and outdoor onsen that is private to our room was fantastic and personally we thought it was much better than hiking up to go to the prebooked outdoor sky terrace onsen, especially at...

阿蘇農莊

"兒子意外的非常喜歡溫泉，室內和室外的池數目都很多，選擇多元。早餐晚餐的buffet都很有水準。"

"For our first time experiencing a Ryokan Onsen as a family of 4, we wanted to experience one of the best in Kurokawa. And Gekkoju does not disappoint! The room was beautiful and spacious with a lot included. The staff helping us was super friendly and accommodating. The service and food was amazing. The indoor and outdoor onsen that is private to our room was fantastic and personally we thought it was much better than hiking up to go to the prebooked outdoor sky terrace onsen, especially at night when you really can't see anything (sort of creepy) therefore enjoying our personal bath was amazing. Our only small gripe which is hard to control are some of the creepy crawlies that we encountered. Mainly in the morning at the end of our trip, although harmless and help with other pests... it was scary to suddenly confront a giant huntsman spider and huge house centipede. But other than that I would def come back for a visit in the future! Most likely in the early winter!"

"This is a great place to go to get away from the otherwise busy Japanese cities. The cottage is located in one of Japans most beautiful regions and the cottage offers a unique way to experience it, don’t bother with a Ryokan when you can stay here. There is also a dog named Renji, he is very cute and I miss him already. The cottage was great, it’s like a large home and it has everything you need. Bring your own food and cook your own delicious meal to enjoys with your friends and family. It feels comfortable to drink here. Nearby is Kurokawa onsen, you can buy a 3 onsen pass in the town and there’s heaps of parking. Once you finish at the onsen you can drive back to the cottage and relax. The cottage has its own outdoor bath but I would recommend going to the nearby Onsen town. Overall great place, beautiful people run the facilities and there is a cute dog. If you are into Super Formula or Super GT it would be worth staying here during a race weekend as teams and racing queens may also be staying here."
