「Hotel was exceptionally comfortable. Bed was great, air conditioning functioned flawlessly for the two days I was there and each day experienced mid 90° temperature. The outdoor pool was clean and well maintained. The breakfast was also exceptional. Hot fare included scrambled eggs, sausage patties one day and links the next. Waffles and toast were also available. For the price, it was hard to beat.」

「The room was clean but the bathroom needs updating. Everything was cracked. The breakfast was very good and the coffee was excellent. The location was very convenient to the highway and towns. The hotel was very quiet.」

「Don't overlook this one. With fresh renovations and a convenient bar/restaurant on site, it truly feels upscale. The rooms are average, but freshly updated and so quiet. The staff is all lovely and the pool area seemed very nice though I did not come prepared to swim. Sadly, I would likely never find myself in Statesville again, but I'm very happy that I chose this Sonesta Select. I was not traveling with my pup this time, but they seem very pet-friendly without sacrificing the clean feel.」

「Poor room and smelly room. Did not feel like using anything including restrooms as well. There were insects inside the bath tub... very poorly maintained....but did not have choice...so just slept for night and left ASAP in the morning」

「Staff told me I had to vacate the area because my son was too loud and the room was a mess. I was told it was extensive cleaning needed, however wet toilet paper can be swept up. I don’t mind paying the incidental fee, that was actually $250, but staff said it was $200. What I mind was being told this at 8pm. Could have called or contacted me prior to the evening. When asked if I was going to get reimbursed for the remaining night, I was told since I booked through Expedia, I would have to...
