We had fun in the area - hiking state parks (Mount Jefferson and Rendezvous), National Park System Brinegar Cabin, Blue Ridge Parkway, Emerald Hollow Mine, Love Valley (horse only town) Christmas parade/ tree lighting, and a mead flight at Stardust Cellars (kid and dog friendly). “Quick stay for a wedding close by, perfect for 4 of us. Well appointed, great mattress and cozy bedding. Only drawback was, it was ladybug season and there were gazillions in and out of the house. Did appreciate the dust buster charged and ready to go. Also, did find out from just about every guest at the wedding that there were ladybugs at all of the places they were staying. ”
