Casale Laghia is located in Modica, about 5-10 minutes by car from the historic city centre. The property is surrounded by a garden of olive, fig and mulberry trees and the characteristic vegetation of the Hyblean countryside.
The Casale is the ideal place for a group of friends or family to enjoy a luxury holiday in complete relaxation. Within the property there is a complex of recently renovated houses overlooking a large courtyard. In this courtyard you will find a sofa area, a table for 6 under a pergola, another table for 6 in the shade of the trees, and a barbecue area for unforgettable outdoor dining.
A path leads to the pool area surrounded by green lawn and olive trees, a relaxation area furnished with chaise-longues and an outdoor shower. Reading a good book in the shade of the olive trees, sunbathing carefree, having an aperitif in the warm light of the sunset are just some of the moments of pure relaxation you can enjoy in the garden and pool area of the Casale.
Each of the accommodation units at the Casale has its own independent entrance from the courtyard. The houses are built in stone, according to the tradition of the rural areas of the Hyblean territory, and during the restoration work this characteristic was enhanced, so that each property maintains a cool temperature inside even during the hot summer days.
'Casa di Gianfranco' is a two-storey house that can accommodate two people: on the ground floor there is a small living room with a complete kitchen (including dishwasher), a bathroom with shower and a small laundry room with washing machine. Up a flight of stairs is a double bedroom suite with air conditioning.
"Casa di Ginevra" can accommodate up to six people: on the ground floor there is a living room with a sofa bed (for two guests) and two bathrooms with shower; on the second floor there are two double bedrooms with air conditioning.
The third block has two independent doors; one entrance leads to the 'dependance' with a double bedroom and bathroom with shower, ideal for two people. The other entrance leads into the elegant lounge furnished with comfortable sofas, armchairs, TV and other modern furnishings, which lend a soberly elegant atmosphere to this communal space, and the convenient kitchen for the whole group facing the pool (complete with dishwasher, kettle, toaster, fruit extractor etc.).
At the entrance to the Casale is a parking area that can accommodate two cars. Wi-Fi available for guests (speed 50 Mb).
The house is water self-sufficient.
In addition, the pool has a salt control unit (salt water) and is equipped with a silent eco pump and a glass crystal filter to ensure maximum purity and alkaline balance of the water.
Casale Laghia is rented as a whole property for the exclusive use of the guests (not single units).
Tourist tax € 2,00 per person per night.

- Swimming pool open from April to October.
- In the town of Modica, garbage is carried out by separate collection: it is very important that our guests respect the collection rules and undertake to throw their garbage regularly and correctly. We thank you for your cooperation.
- It is not allowed to bring in food, dishes and glasses in the pool area.
- Please, at the check out, to communicate any broken plates and glasses.
From November to April monthly rates. Consumption (energy, gas and water) are extra costs.
