  • Located a short distance from the historic center of Modica, charming and picturesque town medioevale- baroque southeast Sicily, Casa Don Neli is a haven for those who want a relaxing holiday in a quiet, but not isolated, where enjoy the atmosphere, the colors and scents of the surrounding greenery.

    The location is strategic because it allows you to reach easily and quickly the cities of the Val di Noto Unesco heritage, as Modica, Scicli, Ragusa, Noto and Syracuse; the important archaeological and natural sites of Cava d'Ispica, Cava Grande and the Oasis of Vendicari and the famous beaches of Marina di Modica, Sampieri and Pozzallo.

    Olive, lemon, almond trees, prickly pears, carob, hackberry and characteristic dry stone walls, identity elements, characterizing the rural landscape ibleo, frame the house, which has extensive grounds (garden furniture, built-in kitchen , barbecue) and a well-kept, lush garden, ideal for spending happy moments in contact with nature.

Schönes Haus mit Garten

Casa Don Neli ist sehr liebevoll und geschmackvoll eingerichtet und liegt in einem sehr schön gepflegten mediteranen Garten. Ideal für zwei Personen. Für Menschen die sowohl die kulturelle Seite Siziliens (barocke Geschichte) als auch Strände und Meer lieben, ist der Standort für den Südwesten Siziliens ideal.

Ì proprietari sono stati gentili e disponibili, la casa arredata in modo piacevole e funzionale ci ha permesso di trascorrere una bella vacanza. Anche se richiede sempre l'utilizzo della macchina, la consigliamo vivamente ai futuri vacanzieri.

Amazing space and lovely hostess!!! Would return!

The house was better than what we expected! The area was beautiful and quiet. The hostess helped so much and made our holiday enjoyable . I would definitely return back with my family. However if you're going to visit Modica you really need a car! Sicily is beautiful.

Accogliente e rilassante

Siamo una coppia con due bambini rispettivamente di 7 e 11 anni. L’incontro con Casa Don Neli ha reso la nostra prima vacanza in Sicilia davvero speciale ed indimenticabile. Per 10 giorni ci siamo fatti coccolare da questo delizioso spazio domestico pensato con gusto in ogni suo dettaglio e dotato di tutti i comfort che possono semplificare e rendere piacevole il soggiorno di un ospite. Non la solita casa di vacanza asettica ed impersonale ma un vero e proprio “rifugio dell’anima” che trasmette a chi ha la fortuna di occuparlo tutta la passione dei proprietari per la raffinata arte dell’ospitalità. Una casa intima grazie alle sue dimensioni contenute ma al contempo estroversa, in virtù della sua sorprendente capacità di aprirsi e fondersi con gli spazi esterni. Immersa nella tranquillità della dolce ed ordinata campagna modicana, in posizione comoda per raggiungere agevolmente ed in pochissimo tempo sia il centro di Modica sia le bellissime spiagge, la casa è recintata e sicura anche per chi come noi ha la necessità di parcheggiare l’auto presa a noleggio. Quella di casa Don Neli è un’esperienza che ci è rimasta nel cuore, che speriamo di poter presto rivivere e che consigliamo a tutti coloro che desiderano dare un valore aggiunto alla loro vacanza nel triangolo d’oro del barocco siciliano. Un grazie speciale a Simona e al suo papà per la loro impareggiabile accoglienza e disponibilità. Speriamo di rivedervi presto!

Maison bien pensée

Maison spacieuse, moderne, confortable et bien pensée. L'espace extérieur est dans la même veine : un beau jardin, et un espace cuisine / barbecue pratique et agréable au vu des températures rencontrées en Sicile. Seul bémol : l'équipement vaisselle n'est pas à la hauteur (pas de saladier ni de plat pour le four, juste 2 petites cuillères ...). Nous l'avons dit à Simona qui a semblé sensibilisée à nos remarques. Nous ne doutons pas que ce problème ne sera que temporaire. Nous recommendons cette location

Un delizioso angolo di pace e gusto

Casa Don Nelì non è la classica casa-vacanze bensì un luogo speciale nel quale l'ospite fin dal primo momento si sente come a casa propria. Pulito, ben posizionato (se uno cerca pace e tranquillità), sapientemente arredato con estremo gusto e creatività dai proprietari, nonché dotato di ogni comfort. Ci siamo sentiti completamente a nostro agio, grazie anche all'accoglienza e Cortesia a noi riservate dai padroni di casa. Insomma un luogo veramente curato, accogliente e speciale.

séjour magnifique à Modica

3 jours formidables dans cette jolie maison moderne, confortable et très bien tenue. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques, accueillants et vous donnent de très bons conseils pour visiter la ville de Modica et la région superbe du baroque sicilien. Nous avons pu visiter leur musée/appartements dans Modica Alta où ce doit être une très belle expérience d'habiter quelques jours. Merci à Simona et à son papa.

With passion for detail...

We had a wonderful week in this beautiful little house and would really recommend it. Everything is new, the bathrooms are perfect, there is even a heating system (which was great during off-season). The whole property is more than well-kept. The children loved to play in the garden. We all felt very welcome. In short, you really get what you see in the pictures: a colorful and cozy home made with love for detail. We would love to come back!

Super maison

La maison de Simona est super. Simona est tres agreable et souriante, son oncle qui l'accompagne à l'entrée et sortie de la location parle bien le francais. La décoration de la maison est faite avec gout tout est tres propre. Il y a la climatisation qui est appreciable en aout. Les lits sont de bonnes qualité. Il y a aussi une terrasse exterieur couverte avec gaz lavabo barbecue etc... bien pratique. Il n'y a pas un bruit à l'exterieur ou dans le voisinage, ideal pour bien se reposer Le jardin est tres beau on peu garer la voiture dans à l'interieur. Quand nous sommes arrivés il y avait des pates, lait, café, confiture etc... super. Notre fils de 6 ans à joué dans le jardin en toute securité. La plage est à 15min en voiture et les commerces pour les courses à 5 min. Merci Simona

Piccola ma accogliente

La casa è piccola ma molto bella, nuova e arredata con gusto. Presenta tutti i confort necessari e il giardino esterno è curato e il fiore all'occhiello della casa. La proprietaria è stata disponibilissima e molto cordiale. La posizione è ottima, a 30 minuti dal mare e dalle città più importanti e belle nelle vicinanze. Una Bella Vacanza in Sicilia e Modica

Come carino la casa era e come bello e tranquillo i giardini erano ! Era molto confortevole per una famiglia di quattro persone e aveva un sacco di ammenties. E 'stato anche vicino a molti parenti e amici a Modica e spostarsi è stato abbastanza semplice da Pozzallo , Marina di Modica , Modica Bassa e Modica Alta . La signora Simone e suo padre , Don Giovanni erano così gentile , dolce , gentile e disponibile . E ' senza esitazione che ho raccomandato Casa Don Neli come un posto per un soggiorno a Modica e ci sarebbe sicuramente se e quando i nostri viaggi ci portano lì in futuro . English: How cute the house was and how beautiful and peaceful the grounds were! It was very comfortable for a family of four and had plenty of ammenties. It was also close to many relatives and friends in Modica and getting around was fairly simple to Pozzallo, Marina di Modica, Modica Bassa and Modica Alta. Signora Simone and her father, Don Giovanni were so gentile, sweet, courteous and helpful. It is without hesitation that I recommended Casa Don Neli as a place to stay when in Modica and we would definitely stay there again if and when our travels take us there in the future.

The perfect holiday home!

From start to finish, our stay at Casa Don Neli was everything we had hoped for and more! As a couple with a young (almost 3) son, we wanted somewhere with plenty of space (inside and out) and in a quiet location, but with easy access to Modica. On all counts we couldn't have asked for more. Simona was great throughout, ordering taxis when we needed it (and even giving us a lift when we couldn't get one!), buying spaghetti for our first night, and breakfast for our first morning, and giving us great recommendations on places to go (check out . The house itself is lovely throughout and really well looked after, exactly as pictured. There's good aircon, comfortable beds, and our little boy already misses our holiday house! The only downside was that we didn't have longer to spend here. Thanks Simona!

A beautifully designed home from home

Simona and her partner were really welcoming, helping us find the property when our Sat nav failed to find it. The property itself was really lovely, light and funkily designed. You can tell lots of care and attention has gone into it. The outside spaces are great, with a fully equipped outside kitchen/bbq and 2 garden areas, one with hammock. Inside the property was really well equipped with cleaning products, comfy beds, basic food supplies and kitchen bits - a welcome difference from other places we've stayed! For us, travelling with a 2yr old, we found the outside space not as secure as we would like, as you share a mutual driveway with the owners - on to a road with fast traffic - which meant we couldn't leave our son to play outside safely. There is an automatic gate, which was secure in itself, but having someone else use it was not ideal with young children. We also found the location a little out of the way for our needs. You are only a 10-15min drive to the centre of Modica and much less to the suburb shops, but with a young child again we would have preferred to be able to walk to the centre. Of course, others won't find this a problem. All in all, this was a fantastic property with great owners & facilities, and we'd highly recommend a stay here.

un'esperienza entusiasmante

Casa Don Neli mescola con eleganza radici solide con orizzonti di grande fascino. Vicina a Modica (la città siciliana più smart dei prossimi anni) ma immersa nella pace della campagna magno-greca, offre spazi distesi e raffinati, un'oasi verde serena e carica di colori e odori, la possibilità di esplorare un ventaglio unico di luoghi e culture, dagli insediamenti rupestri ai monumenti barocchi, senza dimenticare il piacere dei mille gusti della Sicilia eno-gastronomica. La casa è davvero accogliente, anche grazie alle creazioni di design di Plinca Home che rendono il soggiorno raffinato e comodo.

Relax in oasi

Arrivando a Modica abbiamo incontrato due distinti ragazzi che ci hanno scortato fino alla casa posta in un oasi di assoluto relax sottolineato dalla presenza di un amaca posta in un giardino tipico della zona Internamente la cura e il buongusto dei proprietari fa si che ti senti carico per trascorrere una vacanza al top Da provare Modica very beatiful
