A stone mill, the little Rio Secco stream flowing alongside it, and a riparian forest teeming with large trees: this is the setting you’ll find yourself in when staying here. The pool—more like a small pond with crystal-clear, salty water and a stone-chip floor—completes a place that’s hard to forget.
The apartment occupies the first (top) floor of the mill. It features two double bedrooms with an en suite bathroom and a living room with a small kitchen. We've renovated the spaces using green building materials and a constructed wetland system, so we only provide biodegradable products during your stay.
The sunny garden's flanked by an orchard tended for generations, featuring cherry, apricot, pear, pomegranate, olive and walnut trees. The riparian forest grows just upstream, a guardian of a farming past and millennia-old traditions. There's a shared pool with the other apartment and an outdoor area with patio furniture for your private use. The pool's equipped with an overhead massage system. Trails start right from the accommodation—accessible on foot or by e-bike—leading to the medieval villages of Mombaroccio and Cartoceto and the 14th-century sanctuary of the Blessed Sante. Nearby, you'll find restaurants, fine wine cellars and shops selling local products such as honey, dairy products and cured meats.
