An incredible safari experience that you would not get anywhere in the world besides going to Africa. To see the variety animals roaming in their natural environment from morning to evening in front of your tent is surreal. The staff were amazing making us feel welcomed and attentive to all guests,thank you for making this stay incredible. The sunset safari was also another highlight, truly a unique experience to see all the animals upfront and close within Wild Africa. Highly recommended stay!

Whilst a stunning hotel, in an amazing location our initial arrival was marred by poor communication and poor customer service. We tried to explain how it impacted our trip but it fell on deaf ears. By the time it was sorted, it was too late and we were deflated. What should have been an amazing stay became a frustration. The in-house dining did not suit us but we at least forewarned by the poor reviews of that online so we came prepared. We never got to try the pools due to our delayed shuttle pick up which was another disappointment. The staff on check out tried very hard to redeem the situation, and full credit to the amazing staff member Donna !!! Who clearly had so much experience to offer despite only being new to her position at reception. Finally someone who listened to our concerns and allowed us to be heard. If only she had been available for our check in.

From the minute we arrived we were treated like royalty. Everyone did everything to make our stay amazing. Waterhole view room was an absolute treat seeing the animals go for a drink at their pleasure. The restaurant was great and buffet breakfast was perfect with real coffee included. Can’t believe we have this amazing park 40 mins from the city of Adelaide, we will be back.

The web site photos do justice for what to expect. As soon as you walk in the staff are warm and wanting to help you. The Amenities were clean and modern. We also toured the Monarto Zoo which was another highlight of our trip. Do yourself a favour and enjoy this wonderful place and experience.

We were particularly impressed with the hotel staff, who were obviously very well trained in hospitality, and with the cleanliness of our room. The restaurant and breakfast food was good. Best of all was the twilight safari operated by Monarto Safari Park staff. Our biggest suggestion for improving the resort experience is that the car park is moved to the side of the hotel so that people with rooms facing the car park have something more attractive to see. We also suggest that walking tracks around the hotel are constructed. It’s a wonderful environment for walks.

Breakfast was excellent all round. Staff were great, more than ample choice of cereal, juices and hot food. Toaster was a bit slow! Only disappointment of whole stay was the evening meal menu - could not buy a steak or a schnitzel! Limited choice - we didn't go back the second night. Up market fine dining not really our cup of tea! Some more basic options would have been better.

Check in was disappointing. Was told numerous times checking was at 3pm , which I knew. Reception didnt offer to hold 1 suitcase whilst we had lunch & waited for check in. Reception told us there was no 'shuttle' from resort to park. Was requested to show reception where it mentions shuttle bus on website. I found this extremely rude & condescending. I found proof & showed reception. I didnt receive an apology. I was fortunate enough to be able check in before 3pm.
