"The unit was very nice. However the bathroom gfi outlet did not work. The TV control for volume & power off/ on only worked from the rear of the TV."

"Very clean and nice stay. BUT Breakfast voucher however is INSUFFICIENT to cover a regular 2-egg breakfast with potatoes and coffee. So it was disappointing that one still has to pay some dollars more to have a regular breakfast. I chose the hotel because “breakfast was included” AND paid taxes on that amount. But when breakfast easily exceeds they $16 allowance and you have to PAY TAXES AGAIN on that for what you technically already paid taxes on, then this is an unacceptable/unfair practice that should be fixed immediately. It was already a very expensive room. Hotel should improve its curtesy to guests by making sure the breakfast is NEVER just PARTIALLY covered by the hotel. One wardrobe in the room seemed dangerous as it wouldn’t be hard for it to fall over (light, unsecured). Hopefully staff changes that."
Chisholms of Troy Coastal Cottages

"The owner is very kind and the check in process is smart; you follow him up the hill to your cottage so no confusion as to where to park and stuff. The location and view is STUNNING, 10/10. I found the cottage itself and the amenities a bit basic and outdated. If you take only the cottage in consideration (without the view), I wouldn't pay what I paid to stay there. The king size bed in the very small bedroom feels claustrophobic. Also wasn't aware that they would come to change the towels and empty the bins as I was only staying for 2 nights (+solo traveler), I would have def opted out. Note that there are no racks to hang beach towels or swimsuits. Roku tv is a plus. I would stay again but def for a lower price."

"Quiet, peace-filled natural place to stay. The dome was well-maintained and very clean. We loved all the little extras like the grounding matt, the essential oil diffuser, and fireplace. The hot tub was the perfect temperature!"

"The area was so nice and quiet.the host was so friendly and sincere, I’ve been to domes before and I found this one to be the cleanest of all with everything you need right there , we felt that if we did need something extra that our wishes would be fulfilled overall a great place and a great stay "

"Pros: - Beautiful location with view on the water, about a 20 minute drive from downtown Antigonish, close to Dunns and Pomquet beaches. - Has all the necessary pots, pans and utensils to cook your own meals - ideal space for a couple or a single person looking for an intimate place to spend a few days. Cons: - Expensive - Loft bed accessible by a ladder that, when in place, blocks access to the bathroom. - Bedding would be greatly improved by adding a comforter and better pillows - Very low ceiling in the shower. If you are over 5'7, it will be rather uncomfortable. - Very small hot water tank - Door can blow open in the middle of the night during stormy periods."
