Comfy Cozy Cottage
This is a secluded adorable log cabin off the beaten path. Just what we needed for some quiet down time. Yet close enough to town to visit family. It was clean and well stocked. The decorations for fall were superior. The clean, well kept landscaped and fire pit area were great. Be prepared to drive down a dirt road. (well kept) And keep an eye out for the sign that says “Cozy Log Cabin”. You cant see the house until after you turn into the unpaved driveway.

The host' email guidance to get to the cabin was essential. The property and the cabin were immaculate, all wonderfully private. The cabin was very cozy and everything was available for an amazing stay. The little things such as the propane for the BBQ, the coffee, the great beds, we take things like that for granted, but when in a different place it makes all the difference. The distance to Monroe for groceries is easy. We would have loved to stay at least another week if we could. Thank you Adriane, you were a wonderful host, extremely responsive to my few silly questions. I look forward to be back soon and hope we can rent your cabin again.

Really enjoyed our stay here. Only minor quibble is it should say in the listing that pets cannot be left unattended. We received instructions 2 days before our stay with this rule and left us no time to plan options for our dog. We don't have a problem with the rule, but it should be in the listing. Thanks for an enjoyable stay.

Two thumbs and two paws up!
My husband and I, along with our two dogs, spent several nights at this classic log cabin in mid-December. This stay was originally planned for July, but the unexpected sale of our home prompted a panicked call to Adriane who calmed us down and generously allowed us to reschedule. She is a top-notch property manager and was very quick to respond to any questions we had during our stay. Consistent with other reviewer comments, the cabin was very private, clean, well maintained, and well stocked and the expansive property was beautiful. The cabin was also beautiful as well as functional—we all appreciated the gas stove that warmed the whole cabin and provided great ambiance. Because our dogs are important members of the family, we most appreciated the owner’s dog-friendly attitude. Our dogs had the BEST time in the fenced yard—playing chase/hide and seek around the fire pit, chasing balls, and "stalking" the owl sculpture in the flower bed. Thank you for being so dog friendly! We're already planning another trip back.

Great Getaway
The cabin was just what we needed. It was warm and cozy and supplied with everything needed for a wonderful stay. Adrianne went out of the way to help us when we had a difficult time finding the property. I would recommend the property to everyone!

The host/mgr Adriane was awesome to work with, the place has everything you need and I kept finding myself surprised at the level of detail she has invested into making your trip enjoyable by stocking items that often are overlooked by other rentals, recommend you don't try to bring too much stuff (food related/spices/teas coffee, cookware etc) before you get there because it's probably already there, Monroe is just 10 minutes away to get anything not on your list. The grounds are amazing, private and very spacious. Highly recommend this rental would give it more stars if possible. John

Cabin in the Enchanted Forest
This is the perfect log cabin in the forest for peaceful, restful get away. The accommodation exceptional: everything you want and need from the furniture, beds, internet, TV, full kitchen and cooking needs. The decor created an atmosphere that was helpful for us to relax and grieve. Unfortunately we were there for a family death but it was a safe place to simply to be to talk about our feelings and process them. A walk outside to be in nature with the giant Cedar Trees was healing. I even picked and apple off of the apple tree right in front of the cabin. We will stay here when visiting family again. Thank you for the experience!

Wooded Retreat
Full week stay. Heartwarming cabin with rural feeling but only 10 minutes from restaurants and stores. Quiet and peaceful retreat. Very clean. Very comfortable. Loved the indoor and outdoor spaces. Kitchen had everything we needed to stay in and cook. Many thoughtful details. Need-to-know information well labeled. The minimal questions we had were answered by Adriane promptly and courteously. Will definitely stay again when visiting our family.

Better than any other rental I've used before
First thing I noticed was that the property was much larger than advertised. When I booked it was listed as 1/4 acre but my rough calculation has it at more than 3/4 acre. The second thing was that I didn't expect this to be fenced so it was this level of dog friendliness. After closing the gate behind me I was totally comfortable letting my two Golden Retrievers run free the entire time I was there. The third thing was the absolute solitude. Even though this was only five miles from Monroe, it was like being in the middle of nowhere. VERY quiet. On the busiest day I counted four cars going by on the road outside the property. The cabin was great, very rustic but with all the amenities. The owner and the caretaker live nearby but it took me a while to realize this. I introduced myself and now consider them both good friends. They said that unless a customer wants to be social they totally leave them alone. Perfect setup either way you want it. I found them both very interesting people and my dogs loved playing with their dogs as well. I stayed about 18 days and will defiantly be back for longer if I can. Never had a more relaxing time.

Cozy cabin nestled in the woods
Upon arriving I received a very sweet welcome from Adriane, the caretake. We felt so well cared for by Adriane and Mike the owner and creator of the cabin. Everything inside and outside was delightfully charming! So much loving attention to detail everywhere and very clean. Whenever we return to the area, this cozy cabin will be where we hope to return. It felt like coming home in the very best sense!

We Love This Cozy Cabin
This is our second stay in two months. It is such an awesome little cabin. We love the quiet wooded area & our dogs really live being able to run off leash in the big yard. We will be back again sometime.

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful little log cabin. We stayed for four days at Christmas & the cabin was decorated with a little lighted Christmas tree & some other decorations throughout the cabin. The gas pedestal stove kept us toasty warm. The furnacings are very nice, the beds are comfortable & the kitchen is stocked with everything you need. Adriane was very responsive to any questions we had. The fully fenced yard was perfect for our dogs to come with us. We will defintely be back.

Great Get-a-way!
Perfect place to get away for a couple of days. The pictures really do not do it any justice even though the pictures are great. The cleanliness, the design of the house, the details, the ambience, the decorations are all just amazing. The fully fenced yard is perfect for dogs to explore and run as well as the outdoor items (grill, hammock, fire pit, picnic table) are an added plus. The house is definitely warm until you can open up some windows at night. There is a tower fan and a ceiling fan, as well as a small a/c unit in the back corner of the main room but the other write-ups, are correct in that the bedrooms, at least the main bedroom that we used was very warm, however, the small window in the main bedroom does open. We would return for sure and recommend this place without hesitation.

Having lived in the woods, I was really expecting to be out in the woods with nobody else around. That's not the case here, the cabin has space, but is surrounded by other homes. But don't get me wrong - you have plenty of room, it's usually quiet, and it's a delightful place to stay. Just don't think you'll be out in the middle of the wilderness. You're very much in a rural area, but you're not isolated. The cabin is very well appointed, clean, cozy, and relaxing. It was ideal for our purposes, I really enjoyed the hammock out front, and the fact we could do laundry there. We will definitely reserve this cabin again when we visit the area. It's very well managed too, which makes your remote check-in that much smoother and easy. This is a very good value and a great place to stay.

Loved this out the way, charming, quiet cabin. So peaceful. Lovely cabin and perfect for the three of us. The small towns of Duvall and Monroe were a short distance with restaurants, shops and groceries. Totally recommend. Would love to go back one day!!!

A great place to relax!
A cozy, rustic log cabin with great outdoor space. A fun place and peaceful place to stay. Fully fenced...so it is a great place if you have a pup! Enjoyed the outside and inside spaces and covered deck with rockers too. Awesome fire pit area (Unfortunately there was a burn ban so we were not able to enjoy the fire pit.) Love the outdoor hammock too! Would definately stay again!

Had a wonderful weekend in this cozy cabin. It was the perfect size for my husband, I and our lab mix. She thoroughly enjoyed running around the fully fenced yard, exploring every inch! We ended up being stuck inside our first day due to rain, but found plenty to watch on Netflix and other streaming available to us. Also we’re able to get outside without being in the elements thanks to the large covered patio. The fire pit and grill were wonderful to enjoy, just make sure you bring roasting sticks for s’mores.

Nestled back in the tall trees in a park-like setting. Perfect image of a cozy log cabin. Comfy beds, nice kitchen. We were well taken care of when the power went out for 4 hours. Owner's rep came by with portable lighting and made sure we had everything we need. We will be going back.

Wonderfully cozy cabin
We loved our short stay in this very nice cabin, even though it was raining most of the time. It's very private (you can barely see one or two neighbors through the trees on one side). The setting is lovely, and there are several outdoor living areas to enjoy. The setting is beautiful, and it's fairly close to town (less than 15 minutes). We would definitely stay here again!

Log Cabin retreat was just what the doctor ordered! Quiet, private, relaxing, clean, and fully stocked. Close enough to town yet far enough (into the woods) away. Brought our fur-babies. They loved the fully fenced yard and played all weekend. Loved the antiques and rustic feel. Beautiful grounds. The owners stocked us with firewood. Bottom line: would return very soon!
