Alborata is a rustic Tuscan farmhouse entirely built in stone, dating back to the beginning of the last century and located a short distance from the town of San Giovanni d'Asso, in the unmistakable and characteristic landscape of the Crete Senesi. During the recent and careful restoration phase, the travertine staircase, the flooring in a precious Tuscan terracotta, the attics with the characteristic vaults and, on the first floor, the attics with exposed beams and bricks were placed on the ground floor. leaving intact, however, the original structure of the peasant houses of the past. The choice of furnishings reflects the style of the Tuscan tradition, sober and comfortable but elegant at the same time. Alborata is the ideal place for all those who want to spend a holiday completely immersed in unspoiled nature and in the most ancient history that these places have managed to preserve over time and which today represent the testimony of a rich and exciting past. Its favorable position, in fact, allows you to visit with short trips the numerous villages in the surroundings such as Montepulciano, Montalcino, Pienza, full of charm and inviting food and wine proposals and also to organize day trips to the main art cities of Tuscany such as Siena and Florence.
Interior:
MAIN HOUSE. The two-storey farmhouse has a circular design connecting all the ground floor rooms. The main entrance leads on the left to the fully-equipped kitchen and on the right to the sitting room connected via broad vaults to the large living room with dining area, divans, fireplace and satellite TV. All the ground floor rooms have practical French windows with direct access to the outside. There is also a toilet on this floor. From the entrance on the ground floor an antique stone staircase leads up to the first floor with reading corner, two double bedrooms and a twin bedroom. A bathroom with shower and a bathroom with tub and shower complete this floor. ANNEX. The annex, with the ground floor and the first floor connected only by an external staircase, is situated just a few steps away from the main house; each composed of a double bedroom with bathroom with shower. Air Conditioning only in the bedrooms.
Park:
Around the farm there is a luxuriant garden of about 3000 square meters, covered with lawn and adorned with flower beds and colorful, trees and shrubs typical of the Tuscan vegetation such as olive trees and cypresses. The internal courtyard, paved with terracotta, next to the old well on which the French windows of the main building and the annex open, is furnished with garden chairs and tables. Furthermore, immediately outside the French window of the kitchen, in a shaded area, a gazebo with table and chairs and, not far away, a brick barbecue, are the ideal setting for organizing pleasant dinners with friends.NB: It should be noted that the photo shoots are usually made in spring, therefore the colors and blooms of the gardens, lawns and parks may be different at the time of your entry into the villa.
Pool:
The infinity pool, located a few meters from the villa, enjoys a beautiful panoramic position. It has a rectangular shape measuring 5 x 15 m and a uniform depth of 1.5 m. It is internally lined in PVC and purification takes place with chlorine treatment. Access to the pool is facilitated by a Roman staircase located on one side. The pool area and solarium are paved in Tuscan travertine and lawn and are equipped with umbrellas, tables and sun loungers to ensure maximum relaxation and comfort for guests. The swimming pool, equipped with an outdoor shower, is open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October.
