“After reading the reviews we decided to take a punt and book the holiday. I’m so glad we did! All the reviews (good and bad) are spot on. The property is ‘rustic’. There are no frills but the layout of the house was perfect for 2 families and it is spotlessly clean and well equipped with everything you need. We all forgot towels and Lucie was at the door before I had even signed off. ”

“We loved staying in this house. It is a beautiful property with everything needed to enjoy a great holiday. Frederic and Melanie were excellent hosts and very friendly, responsive and communicative. We had a warm welcome, including a bottle of wine and guided tour of the house.The area around Sarlat has so much to do and we enjoyed canoeing down the River Dordogne, visiting the caves at Padirac, two Chateaus, many markets and all in fantastic weather.”

“We booked Chez Suzy for a family reunion, and it was perfect. 7 berooms, most ensuite. Facilities were great too with a lovely pool and gardens. Nice bbq area with a choice of either charcoal or gas. We dined outside as we barbecued most nights with the seating area more than adequate for our number. Most of the family drove from the UK, Germany and Gibraltar and more than enough room for the 3 cars.We highly recommend and hopefully we can visit again.Evelyne proved a lovely host and was always……

“We had a lovely stay! The property was as described, and in the hot weather it was really nice to be able to cool down in the pool. The property owner, Evelyne, does not speak a lot of english, but with the help of a translator app we managed to communicate quite well. A few minor issues were quickly sorted out, and one day she even brought us fresh eggs. ”

“Logement idéalement situé à 15/20 min à pied du centre historique de Sarlat. Grande piscine chauffée quasi privée (en 15 jours nous l'avons eu uniquement pour nous sauf une fois où le neveux du propriétaire nous à rejoint, ce qui n'est pas gênant). Elle est clôturée pour la sécurité des enfants et située dans un grand parc arboré. Logement très bien équipé (lave-vaisselle, lave-linge, aspirateur en plus des équipements standards et de nombreuses cocottes, fait-tout, etc). Wifi gratuit au débit……

“This is a lovely family house with everything you could need. The pool was very welcome as we were there at the height of the "canicule" - otherwise the heat would have been unbearable and we would have had to stay inside! Fans in bedrooms also very welcome. Arianne was very nice to deal with. Property is 10 minutes from Sarlat and various Dordogne attractions.”
