Fantastic - has it all!

We stayed with two groups of friends and our young toddlers. The house has a great layout - roomy living room and decks off the main level, and private separated apartment downstairs. Perfect mix of social and private space. The outside area is the best we’ve experienced in the area - large grass area for kids to play, ample lounging, grilling with river view, and ample dock space to hang on the water. Available kayaks allowed us to explore the beach directly across the way - it seriously checked all the boxes of what we were looking for! Will definitely try to stay here again!

Monte rio

Had a great time here. The home is very nicely appointed with luxurious beds, comfortable sitting areas, and loads of amenities. Part of family stayed in downstairs area, which is more like a little studio apartment and suited them very well. Kayaking, paddle boards and just river were much of our days. Reluctant to recommend, as we want to return, but would definitely recommend. Oh, and property manager we spoke with (Alyssa)was awesome!!

We had such a lovely stay here to celebrate a Friendsgiving with a group of 8. The kitchen is very well outfitted for cooking, the grill worked great, and the riverfront yard is really special. We’ll be back!

Everything was as advertised, we all enjoyed our stay. 5 adults a 6 year old and a 15 month old. All beds were very comfortable and kitchen and bathrooms well stocked. Walking to the river was enjoyable and a short drive to the ocean was a plus. Thinking of coming back sometime in the summer to take advantage of using the river.

Lovely vacation

This was a great property to enable everyone to do what they needed. Lots of space to relax in the home or garden, River access with boats, and not far to restaurants. Only minor complaint was that the hot tub could have been a little cleaner

Everything was as expected at this wonderful property. We have stayed at many houses along the Russian River and this was the most well appointed and comfortable yet. We did not miss not being directly on the river - the house is only across a very quiet street from the grassy lot which has the dock and river access. Our school aged children went back and forth from river to house very safely and with ease. The neighborhood the home was in was also a nice change for us - it was very residential, quiet, and had a nice vibe.

House is NOT directly on the river.

The stay itself was nice. However, we want to clarify that the house is not directly riverfront, and getting to the river requires a walk from the hose to the lot across the street. We also noticed the house is quite close to a busy street, leading to audible car noise. For those who enjoy cooking, we recommend bringing extra fry pans as the kitchen's supply was limited.

Great sisters trip

Gorgeous, clean, and huge property! Downstairs is essentially a separate unit with private access and small kitchen. Upstairs was the main living room, kitchen and 2brs. We didn’t bring pets, but they had small touches letting us know they were welcome (blanket, bags, flashlights for evening walks, etc). Didn’t realize at time of booking, but the private dock/river access is across the street. Wasn’t a problem for us to walk, but something to consider. House also provided some river gear- paddle board and kayaks (never figured out how to unlock, but I never asked). House also had a EVGo charger which was awesome to have, hot tub, and so many nooks to hang/cook/relax! Would definitely stay again.
