「Perfect for up to 6 people comfortably, well equipped, amazing view from a unique location. We stayed 1 week in the summer and hiked on selected parts of the Appalachian Trail, both in the Washington National Forest (Blueridge Parkway) and the Shenandoah National Park (Skyline Drive). We only contacted the owners two times for specific questions and responded immediately. The market is located a few minutes from the cabin, although they offer limited options. 「WOW! I wish I could keep this place a secret, it was beyond our expectations. Highly recommend as the perfect get-away. Very secluded, private, and very peaceful. Sarah was exceptional and an awesome host, the trails and river were amazing. All we can say is, we will be back!」

Exceptional experience from start to finish, with great communication and information about the property and how to get there. The cabin is immaculate, with layers of history and modern amenities. 「DeHart Cabin was perfect for our stay. We made a last minute decision to take a motorcycle ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway and wanted to stay close. Lucky us this gem was available. Lots of games, reading material, and near and far trails to walk, yet close to Lexington, Natural Bridge and VA history. 「It was a nice week there. The pool is only open 2 - 6 for visitors and with 2 little ones with naps we just couldn't fit it in.the up at 4 and eat at 5:30 type of thing. I would say better for adults than young kids. No yard.」

「The pictures don’t do this home justice. It is absolutely beautiful with everything you could possibly need. The setting is exactly what we needed. We felt like we were the only two people in the mountains. The night sky was splendid especially for seeing the Milky Way and the meteor shower. It comes this week every year. 「We really enjoyed our stay here. House was clean with an open floor plan on the first floor. Kitchen very well stocked. Beds are comfortable and the extra half bath on the first floor is practical. We hiked to a nearby waterfall and enjoyed the local brewery scene. The pup was welcome and enjoyed the occasional frolic on the golf course when it wasn’t in use! 」

「Deer Runs is a lovely cabin surrounded by forest. The tall hard wood trees fill the air with the best smell. I did not want to leave. I stayed 4 nights and enjoyed the best sleep on a most wonderful bed. The great window by table was mesmerizing. There was so much to see. And, I love the sound of water. It was everywhere . I took my hiking sticks and this 63 year old went down the trail to the river. Steep but, I did it fine. This place seems magical. 」

「My daughter and I absolutely loved our stay at Nonny Cottage. It was so peaceful to sit on the porch each morning and enjoy coffee while watching the deer! We took full advantage of the property's proximity to several trailheads. We love Crabtree Falls and even ventured to the Natural Bridge in Lexington. It was so nice to enjoy such a peaceful escape. The cottage was comfy, the kitchen had everything we needed, and loved being able to sleep with the windows open! Thank you fo a beautiful stay....
