I am writing to formally file a complaint regarding a recent hotel stay I booked through Expedia in Carmel-by-the-Sea. Unfortunately, my experience was far below expectations due to both unprofessional staff behavior and unacceptable room conditions.
Upon checking in, I encountered a male staff member who was extremely disrespectful and inappropriate. He commented on my appearance, saying things like, “Why don’t you smile? You have to smile at me. When you don’t smile and your face is serious, I get nervous.” I found this to be unprofessional and intrusive, especially coming from hotel staff who are expected to provide a welcoming and respectful environment.
