"Our host could not have been more welcoming. The property was well stocked with fantastic views and space. The hot tub and sauna where used regularly and everything was in perfect working order. A lovely spot in a great location"

"Appartement très joli, mais comme dit au propriétaire très humide le soir malgré la chaleur de la journée, le wi-fi est pas terrible car pas de réseau( appels) et la lumière de la fenêtre peut être mettre des rideaux occultant car le matin on est levé de bonheur. "Unfortunately not at all as we expected. It really is in the middle of nowhere - so dangerous hairy roads to negotiate meaning no chance of fresh morning croissants. As to returning in the dark after a night out - definitely not! The interior is nicely decorated but not very cosy with a very basic kitchen definitely designed by someone who doesn't cook. We left after only one night!"

"A very nice and quiet place, surrounded by beautiful Nature. In the gite there is everything you need for a good staying. The atmosphere feels very good and the communication with the owners, Pascale and Claude was open en kind. If you search for a good place in this region, this for sure is a good place to stay."

"We had the most amazing fortnight at En Macary. Jean-Claude and Françoise were wonderful hosts going out their way to ensure our stay was as perfect as possible. The gite and garden were beyond expectation and the space was brilliant for letting our children roam freely."

Nous avons pu célébrer nos anniversaires avec mon conjoint et une quarantaine d'invités. Ceux qui sont restés pour la nuit et nous même avons profité de chambres très confortables, le tout dans un cadre très chouette, même par temps de pluie en ce début Décembre. "House and pool were good. However we did have a couple of electrical problems and because lived 500k away it was a bit difficult to get hold of Jean. When we did they were resolved."

"Sabine was a delight to work with. We do not speak much French, and she does not speak much English, but despite much laughter we were able to communicate. The accommodations were clean and comfortable. The house is in a perfect location within walking distance to the Saturday market and restaurants. We'll be back! "

"Excellent value for money. Hotel is simple, just 28 rooms but comfortable (air conditioning and full bathroom), the buffet breakfast is not fancy but very affordable. Personnel is extremely friendly and helpful, the restaurant is outstanding for dinner al fresco and the quaint Mirepoix historical center is within 5 minutes walk. I had a wonderfdul 3 nights and used the hotel as my base camp to visit Pyrenees and cathare country"

"They charged me £35, but when I arrived at the hotel, it was completely closed. The gates were shut, all the doors were locked, and there was no sign of life — no staff, no guests, nothing. I tried to contact the hotel directly but received no helpful response. I then reached out to Expedia customer service, but they refused to issue a refund. It was clearly a scam — no one was there, and it appears they’re just taking money from people. This is unacceptable and very poor service. I strongly advise others not to trust them."

Good location but very basic rooms and high price compared to other nearby properties. We rented relatively last minute and it was one of our few available options...."
