Well… if you’re lookin’ for a true “backwoods survival meets glamping” experience—this might be your place 😅 Bathroom? Oh ya, that’s a little nighttime adventure down a pitch-black trail (solar lights optional apparently). Nothing gets the heart rate up quite like punching in a code while wondering if the coyotes are clockin’ in for their shift too. The dome windows were so dirty we couldn’t even enjoy the “deer at your doorstep” moment—which was kinda the whole point. Never saw an owner, trails were more of a guessing game, and parking’s a hike away… so pack like you mean it. All in all, felt less like luxury glamping and more like camping with a fancy roof. Wouldn’t recommend… unless you’re trainin’ for Survivor: Upper Peninsula edition.

I can’t tell you how great this place was. You should book here immediately- Dome 5! The view was amazing the private bathroom was much bigger that I had anticipated and the shower was HOT! We enjoyed the night sky from the comfort of the swinging chairs.

Everything worked well. Did not have AC as it was in the low 40s to low 30s. Heater was great though. It rained most nights so the road was muddy and slippery. It was easy to find our dome and we had ample parking. Loved the views t night although again it rained most nights or was overcast. A few good breaks in the clouds was appreciated. The only thing I would mention is the clear window wasn’t really clear. It would be nice to have something to hang a few clothes on like dresses. One last thing with the rain the front door had a leak along the bottom that trickled into the room on the floor.

Excellent place to stay. The Domes were fun. The view spectacular! We had 4 mule deer walk past our place! The room was great. The beds were comfortable. The pillows soft. Check in was easy. Would definitely stay again if I was in the area.

I recently stayed there for a night. If you are considering staying there, I recommend you do not as they are unethical and do not provide what they advertise. The domes are supposed to have this beautiful view of the wilderness and particularly the night sky. Those views are shown beautifully on the website. My dome had basically no view out of it, except maybe a fuzzy view of the ground outside. The windows were completely opaque due to disrepair and damage. After sunset, we sat for five minutes trying to see any view of the sky and could see absolutely nothing. I have added photos to show you what they advertise versus what you might expect. I reached out to the manager, and he confirmed that he knew about the condition of the dome and gave some excuses about the vinyl and that they have been replaced on several domes but not on mine yet. Every hotel or equivalent has supply issues and work orders, but reputable ones don't knowingly rent rooms that are missing beds or where the shower and toilet don't work. Those rooms are held vacant until repairs are made. This company should not rent any domes that do not provide the advertised benefits/experience, and they know that. If you choose to stay there, you may get lucky with a nice dome that is fully functioning. Just be aware that it is a gamble. The owners clearly have no qualms about ripping you off and offering only cursory responses to your valid complaints.

Vi ELSKET oppholdet vårt! Vi var tre generasjoner på tur som alle hadde sitt første møte med glamping, og vi elsket det! This property was so cool. We loved our stay. It was easy to find, and our family stayed comfortably. The only bummer was that the windows all had a film of some sort on them so our view was blurry/obstructed (which was our whole reason for booking the dome). It didn't ruin our stay, but was a bit of a bummer.

The domes are cool. Well furnished. There was a keurig but no coffee pods to use in it. Wish I would have known that. You can’t park in front of the dome. You have to park down a short ways and lug all your stuff. We had a scary experience. The exhaust fan was not working apparently and we were abruptly woken at 1am with the carbon monoxide detector going off. So we had to turn off the heater for the remainder of the night. Needless to say, it was frigid without it in late October. I sent a message to the host about it notifying him about the carbon monoxide detector going off and the cold night we endured. I got nothing from him. Crickets.

Once we figured out where to park, our dome was a short walk down the path. We absolutely loved the dome. We felt very secure and comfortable. The heater was a huge help for the chilly night. Even though it was cloudy and rainy, it was a great experience and cozy. The bathroom was clean and water temp was perfect. I would highly recommend this property for a unique experience.
