「The Hidden Gem flat in Alfama was perfect for us. Small, but not cramped, bright and airy, and exceptionally clean. The bonus was a washing machine. It was walkable to most areas and surrounded by lovely restaurants and Fado clubs. We had a few communication glitches, but all was resolved by check-in time. I would definitely recommend the Hidden Gem in Alfama to family and friends.」

「Although pleasantly rural and run by very friendly and helpful staff, this property is still a "work in progress". Spacious rustic cabin with bath and kitchen that as of May 2025 was not yet fixed up much. Access road is horribly pot-holed, bungalow door wouldn't close properly, A/C remote needed batteries, TV never did work, blinds wouldn't open, support for personal shower was broken, mattress springs gave us both backaches, etc. Reasonable price for a rustic experience, but don't expect...

「Pros: We had a fantastic stay at Emanuel and Joana’s home! The house was exactly what we needed, a peaceful and sunny getaway to relax, enjoy the beach, and recharge as a family. Everything went smoothly, and we’re so grateful for the warm hospitality and support throughout our stay.
The property was spotless, well-equipped, and perfectly located. It truly felt like a home away from home. We’re already looking forward to returning in the future it’s definitely made our list of favorite holiday...
