“Gorgeous setting, especially in the midst of fall colours! Immaculate, comfortable cottage (aside from dirty dishes, left from previous guests, found in the cupboard)! Good communication, overall, but host did not acknowledge/answer questions asked mid-stay. Very well-stocked kitchen, minus a microwave. Bathroom has no electrical outlet. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would definitely return!”

“I don’t even know where to start, so I start with the owner and communication. Claude was a gracious host, always communicating clearly and quickly. Not being from the area, it was much appreciated! The property is just down from the ferry, a great way to save time if you are going to Parc Omega or the sweet town on Montebello. The ferry is 12/car or 3 for walking pedestrians. “Beautiful location and thoughtful amenities!We have an annual ladies weekend and this years theme was “summer camp” and this fit the bill. The modern cabin was very Annie from the 1998 cinematic masterpiece The Parent Trap. “Happy with our stay. The cottage is spacious, clean, and welcoming. We enjoyed playing ping pong and going to the private beach which is three minutes from the cottage if you are not afraid of taking a steep stairwell down the mountain. Otherwise, you can also make a little detour by walking on the road. A beautiful view on the lake from a large balcony overlooking the lake. We also liked the fact that the cottage is very close to Gatineau, 30 minutes drive for us. We might go back next year if……

“This is a beautiful property and the proximity to the lake is truly amazing! We loved our stay. The kitchen is well equipped. The space itself is clean and welcoming. I would say that the advertised sofa bed was not very comfortable and would not advise someone to plan their stay with an expectation that someone can sleep comfortably on the couch. ”
