Monument Valley is an awe-inspiring place, especially at sunrise and sunset. To be close to these views, you need to stay at Gouldings or The View. Based on my experience, I would recommend The View hotel.

"The property provided an excellent view of the cliffs and stars at night. I do not know if it was noted and I missed it but the bathroom was shared and a separate building. No true refrigerator or stove but ice chest and grill/fire pit provided. My husband enjoyed the experience but I did not appreciate ..."
