Very quaint hotel for staying at the beach. Rates very reasonable as we have stayed before in the past. Great private access to the beach. The staff was very accommodating and helpful. The bathroom needed more electrical outlets.

The atmosphere is nostalgic. It takes me back to when I was a child before everything became soo commercialized. The staff are second to none and really made us feel very welcome. A short walk to the beach on the boardwalk thru the dunes was fabulous!!!!

Thank you so much Christine for your hospitality and accommodating our stay for 3 days. Our room is very clean, Great beach access, we got fresh towels and trash bags everyday. Great amenities, outdoor shower, amazing outdoor hangouts and games. We will definitely be back.

The Beacon is well-priced and a great value! Nothing fancy, but this is a vintage style motel with tons of charm. Like vintage motels, not a lot of room for belongings - a well-placed shelf would be helpful in the bathroom for vanity items. But, it is exactly as expected - small, charming, and perfect for a get-away to the beach. Very nice beach location with easy access (boardwalk through the dunes ) and a nice observation deck at the end of the boardwalk, before descending the stairs to the beach. At the motel, there is a very nice and large outdoor gathering area for relaxing and hanging out in the evenings, suitable for larger groups and also small private seating areas. The room was updated recently and clean, with a very comfortable bed. A few restaurants and stores are within walking distance, but the location is nicely suited in a slower paced section of the island.

My Husband and I stayed at the Beacon for our Honeymoon, it was absolutely a wonderful stay, the staff was so kind and even had a gift for us. They have a ton of beach items to borrow and the walk from the hotel to the beach is short and super easy. The only comment we have is the bed we particularly had was extremely firm. This was our first time staying here and we are already planning to rebook.

The whole place got renovated since I been there a few years ago. Refurbished rooms, super clean. Very cozy and nice looking public space with a grill, bar table, swing seesaws as bar stools(!) and ping-pong table (!). Bicycles and some beach stuff you can use (for free). And the main thing - own beach access board walk. Highly recommend!

The Beacon is a beautiful little beach motel right on the beach. The rooms are recently renovated, very stylish and clean. The shower had great pressure and stayed hot as long as I needed. The fridge worked great and kept my drinks ice cold. The AC was amazing as well.The bed and pillows were super comfortable, I slept amazing there. Very little noise even with neighbors who had a dog you could barely hear it. The outside patio is nice and has a rinse off shower. Christine and her hardworking office assistant Moo-Moo helped me feel at home right away .

Father/Daughter owned. They were both very kind and pleasant. We were greeted daily. The room was amazing and the vibe was unmatched. It was short walk to the beach. Our dogs were welcomed. If you want a nice place to stay, with awesome hosts at affordable prices this is your stop. My wife and I will be back and our puppies too. We have been to many beaches at many hotels and this was by far the best. We look forward to going back again!!!!!!!💙💙💙💙💙💙💙💙

The room was fantastic and we actually got an upgrade for no reason at all. The beach was a short walk away. Our dog LOVED every part of our stay too. Christina is a lovely host who really just gets people and comfort. She is perfect for her role and so much more! Thank you to Christina, her father, and Jesus for keeping everything clean, stocked, and easy during our stay. We will absolutely be coming back to Beacon.
