“The property itself was amazing. Views for days. Some issues were the fact that due to illness ( sign at front desk) there was no physical staff. You had to text or call and wait for a reply. We needed fresh towels one day but could not reach anyone and had to go to Walmart in Boone and purchase towels. Would have been good to know whirlpool tub did not work ahead of time. Need a privacy sign on gate to property, because with barn right next door we had folks wandering onto property and……

“Charming bed and breakfast. The owners/hosts were very friendly and knowledgeable about the history of the property. The gardens outside were lovely. Breakfast was delightful with coffee served in real chinaware and flowers on the table! The extra cost is well worth it. Such a different experience from staying at a chain hotel. Made for some great memories!!”

“We used the Hunt House as one of our "home bases" while in the area for our son's wedding. It was awesome to have a comfortable place for our parents/grandparents and extended family to stay together throughout the event. It is a lot of house! Plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms, and sitting areas. It feels reminiscent of visiting your grandma's house...but that is part of what made it so very comfortable. We would definitely rent again for a similar scenario. Super clean!”
