“My first time in Morogoro and this hotel was the best choice I’ve ever had. Excellent services from all the staff at the reception and restaurant, Safina from housekeeping and Wema and Suzana from Garden restaurant. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone traveling to Morogoro.”

“We had a lovely stay here before we went on safari in Mikumi. The children enjoyed the pool and the breakfast buffet. The staff was excellent. The welcome drink and cool towel were lovely touches. The grounds were marvellous. Great location in Morogoro. The only negative was that there was a wedding the day we stayed here and the music was understandably loud. We would come back again.”

“Nice setting. Good value for the money. Near airstrip. Good friendly staff. They say they take credit cards. They really don’t. We had to pay cash since their machine did not work. Their back up internet card taker double charged after it said it failed to go through and after cash was substituted for failed transaction. So watch out.”

“For the amount of money you pay to stay at this place, I guess you get what you pay for. Needs a lot of work and proper management. I wouldn’t recommend anyone staying at the place if you have high standards or appreciate certain amenities…”

“Noisy all day ”

“We stayed a few nights while in Morogoro and then switched to the Nashera which was far, far superior. This hotel was dark. The staff were not at all friendly. The food was awful, especially the breakfast. Upon checking in, the room had a bad smell, and the bathroom had sewer smells coming in, (although at times they weren't there). There is a slum right next door with a dog that barked at night. This one is rated 6.4 and the Nashera is 8.0. Stay at the Nashera.”
