  • From the doorstep, walk to Amble’s bustling harbour to watch the fishing boats return with their catch and eat fresh seafood in the renowned, local restaurants. There is a popular fish and chip shop on the corner, and an ice cream parlour for delicious treats a few metres away. Find independent shops and cafes on the High Street, stroll around the circular pier, play on the beach just 100 metres down the road, or browse the marina’s quirky retail ‘pods’ for gifts to take home. Book a boat trip to Coquet Island and explore nearby Hauxley Nature Reserve, a haven for birdwatching and wildlife spotting. Walk along the River Coquet to neighbouring Warkworth with its medieval castle, quaint village shops and stunning, beach. Explore nearby Alnmouth’s beach, golf course, and pub/restaurants (6.8 miles), and don’t miss a day at Alnwick Castle and Gardens (9.5 miles).


    Step inside the hallway before heading into the spacious, bright and airy open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The lounge has a comfortable sofa and two armchairs to relax on after days out exploring the area's local attractions. There is a Smart TV, so you can catch your favourite shows and movies, and a modern flame-effect electric fire will add to the cosiness in the evenings. The kitchen/diner is well-equipped with everything you need to prepare meals during your stay, and you can all sit down together to enjoy family dinners. The back door leads to the enclosed outside space. Upstairs, you'll find the two bedrooms, a king-size bedroom with plenty of storage space for your things, and a bunk bedroom, with open storage. The family shower room completes this floor.


    Outside, to the rear of the property, there is an enclosed patio area which can be a lovely sun trap, furnished with a bistro table and seating. A gate leads to the back lane.
