Beautiful cozy cabin

This was a wonderful property that was exactly as advertised, beautiful inside in a picturesque area. We arrived and had no problems checking into the property. The owner was responsive and extremely kind, offering a comprehensive list of resources for our stay and adventures in the area. I would gladly stay at this cabin again if in the area!

Pictures were deceiving and descriptions, driveway rough and parking with boat not good at all. Yard not well maintained. Just not what we expected with pictures and good ratings on website. We left a day early.

Peaceful property in a quiet neighborhood, yet close to touristy pursuits; fast return of deposit

I have rented through VRBO/Home Away three times this year. While I was satisfied with each rental, this rental was unique in that the property is so well maintained. Truly, the furnishings were as nice as those I have in my home, and nicer than most rentals. For example, the deck chairs are nice, comfy chairs, not the plastic chairs you find in some rentals, and the living room furniture and television are extremely nice. Moreover, there are extra touches that make this feel like a home, not a rental: cookbooks, beautiful decor (map and other items in living room), and everything you could possibly need to cook/clean/make your stay enjoyable. Also in relation to furnishings, sometimes VRBOs might not have enough furniture for the unit itself, meaning the place supposedly sleeps 6, but there are only 4 kitchen chairs, or inadequate seating in other areas. This rental is complete. Frankly, when you see how nice it is, you will understand the need for a damage deposit. If you are looking for a quiet place for family, the yard beneath the deck would provide space for kids to play outside. It is an appreciable distance from the road. The wi-fi is good, the TV in the living room is massive, and the owners even have some DVR movies. As far as touristy-type entertainment goes, it is about half an hour to Great Smokies Flea Market, and about an hour from Pigeon Forge & Johnson City. I wanted a peaceful area that was decently close to shopping and sight-seeing, and this rental exceeded expectations in that respect. As another reviewer said, the Brandywine Steakhouse (10 minutes away) is a fabulous place for good eats and family-friendly vibe. If you like Bluegrass/Country, go on Thursday evening for the live band. There is adequate parking for three vehicles right in front of the cabin. As far as owner responsiveness, they are just a call away. We could not figure out the TV remote, and within 15 minutes the owner coached me through the right buttons to push via phone. During the visit, the caretaker called to ask if everything was going okay, and did we need anything. Also, at the end of the rental, the owner phoned the next day to thank us for staying with them, and to inform me my deposit was refunded. My family and I sure hope this place is available next summer when we book our annual Tennessee trip. It's the perfect spot to relax, unwind, and have family time. Worth the price

Affordable cabin. Sofa was not a queen sized sofa bed as advertised. Did have some trouble with the front door lock but the host was very helpful. Only a single cup coffee maker. All in all not a bad cabin for the price for a small family or group.

It was a great cabin clean and quiet not to far from town but far enough away to enjoy peace and quiet and the mountains would recommend to any one and will be returning 😀 😊

Great cabin

Great little cabin! It was perfect for our 3 night stay and commute to see family plus visit Pigeon Forge. The host was immediately available upon check-in to assure everything was in order for us, which it was. We didn't need for anything while we were there. We will book again when we come back.

Mountain cabin

We had a great vacation at this cabin. If you want to be away from commercialized areas this cabin is for you. But in a good location to drive 30- hour to get to everything you need or want to see. The owner was nice and personable and helpful. We’ll definitely be back to this cabin.

Nice cabin

Nice little cabin not to far from Gatlinburg. We had a nice stay in the cabin. Would definitely recommend staying here. Communication was great and everything was clean and well kept.

This property was a very cozy and welcoming feel my boys and i liked it being close to a couple boat ramps the place was clean and had everything you needed,would definitely stay again.Also got to learn a little about owners and heritage and history of place.Worth staying Tku.

Cute little cabin

We enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It was closer to the road than I expected. And the pickups going up and down the hill are kind of loud. But the back porch is peaceful. And the location is pretty convenient, close to a lot of things in the area. Had awesome BBQ at Bustin' Butts BBQ! Tried some moonshine at a local tasting spot. And visited Sevierville. The bathroom could use some updating and additional hooks since it is so small.
