Stained towels, dirty floors, a shower door that won't close, tiniest bathroom I've ever seen. The only redeeming factors are large carparks and it's close to M1 access.

On arrival no one to check you in, called phone to be told they on way but no one showed up. When they did they couldn't get into office. Finally got room's but no info eg wifi( which is advertised). Once in rooms tv remote no batteries and heater 1 battery but needs two. Bed mattress old springs broken like laying on flooring. Very disappointed especially for the price. Found previous guest rubish in room.

Heater / Air con not working so got cold in room til electric small blow heater was delivered hours later. No Reception staff, locked office. Ph call out for key to arrive. Single bed had not clean sheets. Disappointed overall. Nice Quiet location

Great little spot for us. Found good restaurants in the area. But there was no bath mat in bathroom so we had to use hand towel. And there was a broken mirror next to lounge. But over all great.

First thing I noticed was the toilet seat had been left up. Next was the wall and table lamps had no globes, making the room very dark. Cracked light switches and power points, Black marks all over the front of the fridge. No security chain on the door, which appeared to have had a forced entry. Bench with the basin had partially collapsed on one end. No bath mat for the shower floor (used a towel). No electrical appliances had been tested and tagged (a mandatory electrical safety regulation). On the third day I returned to my room to find all the towels and soap had been removed but not replaced and food I had left was also gone. The microwave heated, but the turntable did not. I called the contact number as there is no reception/front desk at this property. The owner brought me towels and said housekeeping got the wrong room. I asked about missing globes etc and he said they don't replace them as they are frequently stolen. The bed was reasonable and the room was clean, but otherwise, it was one of the worst experiences I have encountered as a frequent traveller.

Confusion about which property I was checking into on arrival from receptionist. Room carpet was wet, stank of pee, people living in crisis accommodation and best of all BED BUGS. Was transferred to another motel during the night from the helpful man however room was a disgrace. Worst experience ever at a motel.

No one present on arrival, heater didn’t work, a lot of swearing and commotion, permanent residents asking for cigarettes and taking cigarette butts, felt unsafe. I wouldn’t recommend for people travelling for work.

Bed bugs and drug addicts.
The room had bed bugs and adjoining rooms had what appears to be drug addicts in it and walk around the car park.

Morwell Rose Festival stay over.
Great location, walk shops & station.Went to Rose Festival opposite Motel ,Great weekend.Bit dated motel but good service provide & comfortable.

Our visit to Morwell
Our two night stay at the Always Welcome Motel was enjoyable. Our room, despite being basic, was clean and comfortable and very convenient for the purpose of our stay in Morwell. The weather was cold but our heater worked wonderfully. Overall we were quite satisfied.

Property was clean , however disappointed that there was no one there when we checked in to explain how things worked, There was no hairdryer in the room nor a compendium that gave you the highlights of the area, cafes, restuarants etc. The car park lines needs to be remarked desperately and the rooms are dated. lighing is very dim and the aircon/heater is very noisy. The room was not vaccumed in the whole 8 days we were there and the sheets were not chenged either. Nothing in the room that says put towels on floor to be collected.

Better than it started
Rooves were being pressure-washed as we arrived and reception was unattended. However, staff appeared and made helpful suggestions for dinner...and roof-cleaning was stopped. Lovely gardens across the street.

Convenient hotel
We stayed in a family room for 1 night. I found the bed to be a little hard but the heater worked good, water pressure was great and I liked the fact it had a microwave. Carparking was a little tight in our large car. I would stay again.

Room was very clean and roomy. Scent of odoriser a bit overwhelming if you are sensitive. Internet slow at night, hot water in morning slow to come. Overall, for the price it is a reasonable choice.

Comfortable room
Our room was well equipped and generally comfortable. Location was reasonably quiet. Owner was away, so check in was arranged for us by a neighbouring motel manager - slow, and no-one around to help if we had any problems. The evening was a bit noisy due to the people living next door having loud music until 9 pm.

Scammers. Pathetic joke.
On arrival was told they couldn’t find my booking. I showed my confirmation email. Was then asked to go to motel 2 doors down, owned by same person, who magically found my booking, but said there was no room available as booked, blaming wotif, however there was a room available in the second motel which he claimed were the same as we had booked. When we arrived at the room we were disgusted as it was nothing like we booked. We were expecting modern decor and bathroom, couch, coffee machine etc. which this room lacked entirely. We didn’t stay as we felt totally scammed by the owner.
