“Very comfortable stay and amazing breakfast. We stayed here just one night to get to and from Edinburgh airport. The X18 bus comes right to the property (1hr ride) for about £5 or you can take a cab (25min) for about £40. We were pleased to see there were plenty of fast food places around that are open until 11pm or midnight - not all small towns in Scotland are like this. “It was an absolute pleasure to stay here. The hosts were charming and attentive. It was fun to talk with them and the other guests, and the breakfast (made specially for each guest) was some of the best food I had while in the UK. The bathroom was pretty small, and the shower was one of those stand-alone ones that looks a bit like a box, but the bathroom and room were always very clean. The parking was a bit tight when every spot was full (I had a large rental car), but there was enough space……

“Once we were dropped off by our taxi on the street, we knew it was not a good area. The taxi guy warned us to be careful due to it being the roughest neighborhood in the area. I genuinely did not feel safe. The small alley/street we walked up to get to the entrance was lined with trash and shady characters. The halls and building smelled so strongly of smoke. Loud doors shutting off and on all night. The bathroom was so gross. No hot water for showers. Beard hair all in the sink from someone……

“We had the most incredible stay at The Queen's View for so many reasons. On the way to the B&B, there was an accident in the middle of Linlithgow cutting off all traffic through the town and I had no idea how to get through to the B&B. Without needing to call, Catriona messaged us with directions helping us get around the traffic and saved an extended argument in the car!
