Extremely well equipped

This was probably the best-organized, best-equipped place I've ever stayed. Toys and games, bicycles, first-aid kit, extra linens ... just absolutely everything you could need or want. The property is very quiet and peaceful, but just a 7-minute walk to High St. We especially enjoyed the peaches and pears from the fruit trees.

Quiet and convenient

Quiet, relaxing, clean, airy, comfortable beds, spacious. A lovely original home hidden inside the middle of a residential block with an enormous backyard of fruit, veg and herbs, all available. For people without a car, this is close to stops for bus to/from Nelson, pickups for Abel Tasman and seaside walks.

Perfect stay

Loved the location- 15 min walk to centre. Lovely personalised message from host; everything organised and labelled. Great garden and great to get clothes washed and dried.

Excellent experience in Motueka

Excellent stay at Elise's accommodation. Very spacious, well equipped, clean, well decorated and well located. We felt at home. Very nice outdoor as well. We didn’t use the bikes because of lack of time but it’s great to have access to them. Close (by car) to the Abel Tasman, Kaiteriteri and Marahau where we rented kayaks for the day. Elise advised us well for restaurants and activities. We highly recommend !

Great spot!

Perfect location in Motueka

We stayed two nights. Our host was great; quick and easy to communicate with. The property was well prepared with various notes, superb attention to detail and we loved the 'extras' that were provided, plus the bonus of garden produce! We were on ebikes from Nelson to Motueka, then onto Kaiteriteri, we arrived wet and the 'breeze-way' was great for drying our gear. Nelson Bike Hire collected our bikes and Motueka Taxi's shuttled us onto Abel Tasman. Would definitely recommend this host and house in the heart of Motueka.

Motueka perfect

Our group of four adults staid 4 nights during the peak season to be close to our family who lives locally. The house worked perfectly for us. It was spacious, quiet, clean and very well equipped. We much enjoyed being able to use the bikes in flat Motueka! We all had a wonderful family time. The house would also work quite well for those new to the area who want to discover the region.

We really enjoyed our stay, it was pet friendly so we could take our puppy. The boys enjoyed riding one of the bikes that were available. We had more family staying at the campground nearby so it was perfect for joining them for bbqs. Thank you.

Great property. Had absolutely everything you could need - more than enough utensils and equipment for a Christmas dinner. Everything was very comfortable. Great property for the dog - fully fenced with lots of room for call throwing. Thanks, for what we needed, it was perfect

Great comfortable home to stay in. Hard to find a place that has parking for a larger boat so was perfect for us. Clean, tidy and has everything. Host is lovely and very welcoming. Definitely recommend

Home away from home

Enjoyed picking fresh fruit and veg from the garden. The home was really comfortable. Power plug in the bathroom or long extension cord would be my only suggestion.

Just right!

Clean tidy and homely stay. Walking distance to restaurants. Lots of books and games if we were staying longer. Just right for a night stay after we tramped Abel Tasman track and so nice to get back to sheets and showers.
