「This was truly an exceptional stay. The house is an architectural gem built in 1994 allowing nature, light and beauty into the unique structure. Stefano was a perfect and generous host. I would recommend this stay to anyone wanting to be near Acadia but not near the tourism of Bar Harbor. It's truly a secluded, quiet yet convenient location.」

「Honestly perfect! You get exactly what is advertised and then some--everything has been thought of inside this cozy loft (the coffee was clutch, I'd forgotten to bring any!!)I loved waking up to Teach the rooster and taking out my compost to feed Chadde. The walk to Little Pond was beautiful and it was so nice to be able to take the canoe for a morning paddle. Even though it was cold enough to snow, the heater in loft kept it warm--I didn't even need it at night. Will definitely be back!」

The host was outstanding-- she even started a fire in the wood stove for us so that the cabin would be toasty when we arrived after a day of hiking in Acadia. The place itself is exactly as described and if anything even nicer. I wish I could live there! The lake was gorgeous, the beds comfortable and the stars were amazing. Can't wait to go back! 」

「We had a wonderful stay. The house was clean, the beds were comfortable, and the hot tub was needed after the full days of hiking and bike riding through Acadia. The kitchen was very well appointed, although we never cooked dinner as we enjoyed the Bar Harbor restaurants - More local to the house, be sure to check out the Sea Ketch restaurant… it was delicious. We were only home for one sunset, but it was lovely. Also we highly recommend sailing out on the schooner Margaret Todd, a Cessna flight...

「This house is all about the location! It sets on a beautiful property and is a mile from access to Acadia Park loop road, not to mention close to town. More than enough space for 5 adults to lounge around. The weather was starting to turn to fall so using the fire pit and having the fireplace was so nice. 「For the last 20 or so years we have rented houses in downeast Maine-three couples who have been friends for far longer. This house was one of the most well thought out, with comfortable furnishings in good condition, beautiful harbor views, and a well equipped kitchen which is as big as it looks in the photos.
