「This property was the perfect place to return to each night! The beds are comfortable, the kitchen has everything you need and the host was great to work with.」

「We loved staying here. It was very clean and it was nice to see that there was things that we usually have to bring such as laundry detergent, soaps and shampoos. That was a plus for us. The only thing we didnt care for was the haul from the road to the house with our luggage. We would definitely stay here again.」

「It’s not fancy, but if you’re looking for an affordable, convenient place to use as a base for visiting New River Gorge, this worked well for us. Clean, good communication with owner. 15 minute drive to the bridge, restaurants, gas, etc.」

「As advertised. Clean and convenient to New River Gorge activities. Parking was easy. We would definitely stay there again. However, if stairs are a problem then it might not work for you. Communication was easy and timely.」

「Great location for a vacation at new river gorge. Has everything you need in this type rental」

「Wonderful stay! FYI- Maps app doesn't bring up the address. However please take note and print out the details that they give you prior to getting there. Service is spotty in the area. This house is on gravel road and it's secluded. We had a great stay and will definitely rent again if we are back in the area. We enjoyed the corn hole boards and horse shoes for the afternoon wind down. We stayed for 3 days and was able to see all the New River gorge areas in these 3 days. No hiking just taking...

「Quite community located next to the white water companies and the gorge bridge. Perfect weekend getaway」

「Just like Grandma's house. Easy access full of charm.」

「We didn't receive any check in information. I messaged the host the day of our stay and requested it. Upon arrival the entire house smelled strongly of mildew. It was incredibly pungent. When I pulled out the sofa bed for our son, it was covered in dead insects. The home did not appear clean.」

「What a beautiful home - this house makes you feel like you are back in time to the 1920s (in the best way!). It is very spacious for groups (we had 7 adults and two kids), and everything was super simple. Checkin was easy, check out is a breeze. It’s a great location too - just close enough to most of the NRG attractions but away enough for the peacefulness and getaway feel. We would absolutely stay again, and fell in love with West Virginia and New River Gorge!」

「House was as described. It is located off Harper Road. In a great location for lots of activities. There are several choices for restaurants. There is a Kroger grocery store nearby. The house was clean. Nicely decorated. Has in room air conditioning for bedrooms and main room. There is a coffee maker. A few kitchen utensils if you want to cook. Neighborhood is quiet. We had a great stay for my mom’s high school class reunion at Lake Steven’s.」

「We had a great stay. The house had everything we needed. It was super clean and conveniently located too. The host responded to communication timely.」

「This was a very clean place and a good location, central to all the activities around. The check in process was smooth. We found the beds to be extremely uncomfortable. The master bath shower is also extremely small. The foosball table is not really functional anymore - it’s rusted out and warped. Overall a nice place.」

「Very nice two bedroom house. Obviously recently remodeled and very clean. Situated in a quiet residential area on a short dead end street with only a few other houses.Within easy driving distance from Beckley Exhibition Mine and other area destinations as well as grocery store and restaurants Definitely will use again when coming to this area.」

「Great property!」

「Our stay was fantastic at this home. There was actually a trundle bed which the kids loved. And Walmart does delivery so that made traveling easy. The other nice surprise was the ping pong table and corn hole in the garage. The pool has a gate and a double lock which was also wonderful. The home is bigger than the pictures show. We went to Ace adventures which was great, highly recommended!」
