"We were there at a slow time, right after Labor Day. It was very quiet and we saw no one on our trail walks. Only a couple tables were occupied at diner, and we were the only ones at breakfast. The staff was great and I hope others wandered in to eat at the buffet because there was a lot of food prepared. The property is old, but clean and nice. There is interesting history. We would stay there again."

"This place was wonderful very peaceful. If you’re trying to get away from the big city, life hustle, and bustle this is the perfect place. It was very clean and the stars at night are magnificent. It was Incredible. And the cottage is absolutely adorable. How about a 20 minute drive to shopping and restaurants about a 20 minute drive to The Ark Encounter in about 45 minutes from the creation museum it is the perfect place. I highly suggest you try it out. My favorite place was upstairs on the outside balcony sitting in the rocking chair reading my book in the treetops listening to the birds sing."
