"Clean and comfortable room. So glad I booked a room with castle view. We had the Superior Twin Room, 23m2. The view was just amazing! And we got to see the castle at different times of the day.
The hotel offers welcome drinks. Not just standard drinks but hot chocolate, too! Thank you!
The breakfast room also has view of the castle! So nice!! Buffet breakfast has standard items plus dishes using local ingredients (or famous local dishes?) For example, miso soup with pork and pumpkin, rice mixed with squid, Swiss roll with sweet potato, apple caramel cake and mochi with red bean. No other hotel we stayed in had these. Compliments to the chefs!
On top of that, there was a Kyushu Food Festival on at the Fukuyama Castle grounds the weekend we were there. We got to experience that. So lucky. Joining in to do morning exercises before sunrise in front of the castle was another memorable experience!!

"High-end hotel with stellar room and view. I stayed here because I was doing day trips to Kurashiki and Naoshima Island and this hotel is conveniently connected to the Okayama train station. "
"I’ve been trying to stay here for the past year. My stay was better than other hotels in the area. Fairly new hotel, nice layout and a great breakfast. About a ten minutes walk from the train station and fifteen minutes to the historical district. Food is nearby with two convenience stores across the street."
"Very well equipped apt., very quiet area, clean and in good condition. Much larger than a hotel room at the same price level, and very central to everything in the area. Check in is by a system like a love hotel, so very easy but do look for an email with the door codes.
Location is right across from the old town area and an easy 10 min. walk from the train station. Lots of choices for restaurants and there are several supers close by and a Lawsons on the corner. Eating in is an option if you are tired of eating out and is very easy. Good way to experience how the typical Japan apt. is. "
