Lovely near new, clean & comfortable cottage. We enjoyed our evening drinks on the back deck. Great air conditioning in high 30's weather. Good kitchen. Good TV with Netflix & YouTube! Very comfy bed. Modern bathrooms. Safe parking. Loved it!!

Perfect for our weekend away

We stayed for the weekend while attending a cycling event in the area. The accommodation provided the perfect base with a wonderful bush aspect with daily kangaroo sightings. It is also only minutes to the center of town driving or Cycling.The accommodation provides all the necessities for a stay, whether you dine in or dine out. With wonderful facilities and amenities. The host Jacinda is highly responsive to message, helpful, and friendly. She provided some wonderful touches to make our stay even better. Highly recommend this cozy getaway.

Amongst the gum trees

A most delightful accommodation, new, modern, close to town. Compact but enough space for everyone. Our host was close by when we needed her. A lovely semi rural location. We really enjoyed being there.

Beautiful house

It is a very nice house, well positioned and has a great views. Lots of birds near the house and we could see Kangaroos from the house. The house is very neat and tidy. The place is well equipped and we had really enjoyed staying at the house. The host Jacinda messaged us regularly and made sure that our stay was comfortable. Thanks Jacinda for the excellent local gifts, we really enjoyed it. We had a great stay and we' would like to come back once again.. Highly recommended. Sanctuary On The Edge Of Town

A great, modern 2-bedroom / 2-bathroom cottage on the edge of town. Plenty of space in all rooms and a deck to have a barbecue and spot the local kangaroos. Great base for walks or biking.

Kangaroo Gully is a comfortable and cosy house in a quiet location within easy reach of Mudgee CBD and all the local wineries. We really enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful, well appointed and large apartment sized cabin

Extremely clean, fantastically appointed and comfortable stay. Large enough for a family and a quick drive to town centre. Great communication and access, Jacinda is very helpful and goes above and beyond. We found the photos a tiiiny bit deceptive, it does look like a semi rural setting on the ad but it certainly isn’t. It’s pretty close to their large shed and has no rear curtain when the owner accidentally shines his high beams into the lounge and leaves his vehicle there for a while. 😂. Really though, we’re probably just spoiled country folk, city folks would absolutely adore the place. We did too, we’re just used to more distance from neighbors. A screen or curtain would be the perfect solution. Thanks Jacinda 😊

Delightful

Though the house is adjacent to the main house it is very private. Beautifully presented with very thoughtful inclusions. The town centre and the Mudgee attractions are within easy distance.

Great Spot

Kangaroo Gully was the best stay of our outback trip. So spacious and relaxing, the beds were super comfy and the beautiful bushy outlook from the verandah was perfect, we even saw a kangaroo in the gully one night. Perfect. 🙂

What a beautiful place ! we are a family of four adults and still we had our own space to relax and chill , we all enjoyed the modern facilities. The accommodation was not far from the main town, very close to the heart of all of Mudgee activities restaurants, and cafes, and just a short drive to the wineries, thank you Jacinda for the extra thoughtfulness of the lovely bottle of wine . Your place is just lovely. 😊

Short Weekend Break

We were very impressed with the little cottage. The home is well catered for a family holiday. It is clean, tidy and newly built. Very convenient to the local restaurants, shops and city centre. Yet a totally tranquil place, where you can relax and feel at peace. Highly recommend Kangaroo Gully for short or long stay, it caters for both. Host is also very responsive and helpful. They even left a thank you note and a bottle of wine.

Beautiful kangaroo gully

Didn’t disappoint! Lovely 2bed 2bath cottage with all the amenities. Very clean and looks & feels new. Super comfortable and very quiet all within about 5km from the centre of town. We also had a kangaroo come to say hello…. Highly recommend.
