「Nothing was too much trouble, and responses from staff were always genuinely friendly in a manner better than I have seen in years. The rooms weren't perfect (in terms of renovation specifically) but everything is still very well presented.」

「This hotel is excellent. They have thought of everything, from earplugs by the bed to a digital Robert’s radio playing classic fm when you arrive. Beautifully decorated and comfortable. Great bar and restaurant and wonderful staff. I have stayed in literally hundreds of hotels and this is up there and way better than a lot of far more expensive places I’ve stayed. If I’m ever in the area this will be where I stay.」

「the managers were helpful carrying our cases up and down two fcloors. no lift there. we found the menu had the same thing on every night. i am a diabetic type two and not everything i could eat apart from the beef steak pie and chicken with rice. i did not want the peppercorn sauce but i asked for gravyt which was bought to me when i had nearly finished the meal. room service could have been better. sometimes no milk ortea bags . one occasion waste paper basket not emptied and cups...
