Somewhat disappointed

The location is good and the house had great potential. It's an interesting 1913 historic home in Mullen. I had reserved for 6 people, but the house only accommodated four. The bathroom and the carpeting in the LR and DR were not clean. One bed was old, in poor shape and not comfortable. The home does have an unpleasant odor.

Older home with few amenities

We were in town for a wedding. The home is basic but nice and clean. No internet or cable so bring your own form of entertainment. No communication from owner, I called the day before our arrival to find out how to get in the house. She was very nice but I would guess they don’t rent very often. No instructions regarding what to do when leaving ie bedding, towel, trash, temp… Overall it served its purpose and we would definitely rent again but know better what to expect next time.

The place was exactly what I needed for work.

I wish they had some sort of tv (satellite or local). Other than that the bed was comfortable and the living room furniture was great also

Charming town and house

It was a very charming and friendly town, and the house was in a great location with easy access to everything. The host was out of town when we arrived, so we had to ask the neighbor for assistance to get in the house. The house was very comfortable and had all the amenities except wi-fi and outdoor furniture. There was a TV available, but you will need to bring your own DVD player because there is no access to any local stations. Although the host said there was outdoor furniture available, there wasn't and we had to borrow chairs from the neighbor. We would definitely stay again, but we will come more prepared next time.

Great place to stay in Mullen

This is a great old house, with plenty of space, a nicely stocked kitchen, good bathroom, and lots of common room area besides the two bedrooms. The caretaker, Chris, lives right next door and is very friendly and super helpful! I look forward to coming back.
