Also, since Munich is very near with the train, all of the attractions and sight seeing places in Munich are easily accessible. Dachau has a castle and a number of castle gardens, old churches, etc. Also very well known is the concentration camp from the 2nd. world war. Every day many people from throughout the world come to here to understand some of the horrors of the reign of Hitler, to help prevent such things from ever happening again. The S-Bahn, the train station and the bus station is only minutes away. With the bus you go to the concentration camp. To walk to it, it takes about 30 minutes.
