The staff was extremely pleasant!!. The view of the glockenspiel was very cool and we enjoyed the wine and pretzels while relaxing and observing the bustle in Marienplatz! Loved our view of the church from our room and enjoyed waking to church bells every morning. Location is fantastic!!

Location is amazing. Noisy at night from the plaza so you can’t open your windows to sleep so the room was really warm which made it hard to sleep. Also the bed was not comfortable in my opinion. Hard beds. Pillows were too soft. Very cool hotel. Loved it despite the bed and no air. I would stay here again due to location.

Finding it and the parking was very difficult but well wort it. Do not listen to your GPS in the car. Do some research first and know where you are going. Our GPS took us into areas where vehicles are not allowed. In talking with people, this is quite common. Everyone was very nice and our room was directly across from the Glockenspiel.

Lovely staff but…….

Staff were wonderful BUT for a hotel in this price category it ‘missed the mark’ in some areas. Dining arrangements are weird, in that you eat off small tables in the lounge area or library (there were a few stools at high narrow tables, but that wasn’t a particularly comfy option either). If you like eating your breakfast from the equivalent of a coffee table, then this is the place for you. The breakfast itself was limited, and TINY portions. Both husband and nephew were disappointed when their egg & bacon breakfast arrived in the equivalent of a coffee house latte bowl and a teaspoon to eat it with…. Not really what was needed after a night in Munichs’ famous beer halls! The porridge I ordered was a warm thin gruel on the first day, and a cold lump of congealed wallpaper paste the next. The freshly-squeezed orange juice was delicious but the large glasses requested never appeared….. neither did the butter for our toast…. Ultimately the breakfast experience overall felt sub-par for a luxury boutique hotel. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, but again lacked the attention to small details. Towels were more Travel Lodge than ‘cosy fluffiness’ and the absence of a magnifying mirror in the bathroom (essential for ladies over a certain age) was irritating. The overall experience was nice, mostly because of the amazing location and wonderful staff, but the missed opportunities to deliver on the details that make the difference between ‘good’ & ‘great’ was a shame.

Liebes Personal aber leider ungeschult. Sehr gutes und sauberes Zimmer aber das Frühstück war katastrophal. Man isst an einem kleinen Beistelltisch. Da der Weg zur Küche für die Mitarbeiter lang ist, und es kein Buffet gibt wartet man lange auf sein Frühstück. Tische werden nicht geputzt, genau so wenig der Boden. Die Servietten vom Vorgänger werden einfach liegrn gelassen. Ein weiteres Beispiel für ein ungeschultes Auge; die Brötchen kamen nach 20 min. Die Teller um die Bròtchen zu essen nach 40 min.
