Resorts in Münster

"The bed was clean as was the bathroom and the room was large. However the pictures show a fully equipped kitchenette and it's described as such. But you actually have to ask for pots and pans. The lady at reception seemed surprised we wanted these. We were given a frying pan and a saucepan, with a large plastic spoon. We asked for plates but she said she couldn't give us any. So we had to eat off saucers. Not quite the fully equipped kitchenette we were expecting. No dishcloths either, no spoons, no sharp knives, no cooking utensils. The carpets throughout were filthy. I didn't want to take my shoes off. It's important to note that there is a drug rehab centre opposite which means a lot of addicts hanging around, however they all left once the centre shut and didn't cause us any issues. What was an issue was the checkout. They say you can check out up to 11am. I did the online checkout and confirmed this time, but the cleaner knocked at 9am whilst we were both getting showered and dressed, and they actually opened the door to our room at 10am. This felt really intrusive. All in all, it's ok to sleep in but there's huge room for improvement."

"On arrival the hotel was very pleasant. The staff were helpful but without a smile. We then had the unfortunate experience of guests in the next door room who insisted on playing loud music in the evening, then again at 6.15am, being loud and smoking, the whole corrider smelt of cigarettes, which in turn created a fire risk for all guests. In turn the hotel staff were reluctant to compensate us (having spent €300) for this experience. We were offered breakfast which really was a little cost to them, we however were veey upset and tired for our day ahead. The hotel staff did not deal qith the people in the next room at all alart from ask them to turn the music down, they should have been thrown out! "

"We always stay here when coming to Munster. Everything abouth this hotel is exceptional. They have off street parking. The staff are always extremely helpfull. They offer breakfast but we prefer to go to the bakery that is just a outside of the hotel. The rooms are very clean and have everything we need. The centrum is a 30 minute walk/ 5-10 minute drive away but there is a Rewe just around the cornor. I would highly recommend the Johanniter to anyone looking for sonewhere to stay when visiting Munster."

"Amazing breakfast "

"Parking was easy. Self check-in was simple, but plenty of staff on hand. Rooms were pristine and the historic nature of the location was on display. Plenty of restaurants nearby and an easy 30min walk to central Münster. "

"Reasonably priced, modern and very clean. Staff were very friendly. As a regular visitor to Münster o would recommend this hotel."

"No AC on the room but with the cool weather, i was able to use the fan and opened the window, until the noisy construction started tk wake you up. They promised to look into the AC but noone came to give me an update if the ac was indeed broken or if they had fixed it (still used outside air and fan to avoid disappointment) Breakfast was the same thing everyday. No wifi and poor cell service in my room 307. I had to work from the lobby so i can get wifi for my laptop and to get on zoom calls. Very inconvenient "
