You will have the guest suite all to yourself in our parklike estate custom built home that has been converted into individual apartments and surrounded by the natural wooded beauty of 4 private acres. Bring your family, go hiking, explore the nearby parks and wine tasting tours, celebrate an anniversary or graduation, or bring your recreational vehicles for Boating, a Motorcycle ride or an ATV adventure (lots of space to park your trailer). There's so much adventure in Southern Illinois!

This unit is a little difficult to rate in some ways. First, it's a very quiet setting, comfortable, lovely artwork, and w the needed amenities. Yet it seems a work in progress, as if the host rushed to market it. A few things had not been completed, and the bedrooms are not comfortably arranged so that watching TV is awkward. We got off on the wrong foot as the host provided zero information about parking, internet, etc. I had to contact vrbo after no answer to my messages after 2 1/2 hours. Bottom line: I would return there w out question, because it is a quiet beautiful space, and only a few minutes from Carbondale. I'm sure the host will work to make the place even more comfortable and welcoming.
