"The room is large , the bedding comfortable however it was not as clean as I would expect. The room was not serviced for the first 3 days , cups not cleaned bathroom etc …when it was cleaned the floor was still not vacuumed.. Water pressure in the shower poor and bath sink was blocked until I reported it …it was fixed .."

"Clean and the staff so helpful. Aging hotel but full of charm and great value for money! Location is 5 star as you can step into a restaurant, the beach, on a tram or catch a bus to the airport all within 100m! Great bar and restaurant in the hotel. we got a free upgrade on arrival, so felt like royalty with 200 degree views of the ocean to the city! Breakfast is good, not overly fancy but completely adequate and family friendly. Definitely be back!"

"Effortless check in. Good meals in dining room at reasonable prices and a very good well priced breakfast menu. This is our usual overnight stay when travelling to Canberra and have no hesitation in staying again. Love the decor. Large rooms and nice and quiet."

"On first sight, the room looked of 5 star quality, with good amenities in the room, bathroom and storage area. However, the carpet is in very serious need of a good deep clean and was rather unsavoury to both look at and walk on. "
