「Great house, comfy beds, hot showers, great location kitchen well stocked for cooking, although could use some more cutlery as we had no teaspoons and only 3 forks but we made do with plastic that we had with us , we enjoyed our stay.」

「I have stayed at quite a few motels in Townsville, this stay is my second time at the Cascades Motel in Townsville, and it certainly won't be the last. It is shaping up to be my "go to motel in Townsville" because it is head and shoulders better than most of the rest. And that's not a hard decision to come by.」

「What a great place. The room was clean, well-appointed and very comfortable (great air conditioning for those of us who are cold blooded). The pool was lovely and we enjoyed the BBQ area and outdoor furniture. The staff behind the desk were lovely with recommendations for our travel. Breakfast was a nice bonus, the kids enjoyed choosing each day. We will be back.」

「Lovely outlook over the Ross River. Near main road with some traffic noise. Security is good. Rooms only serviced once per week so you need to ask at reception for additional servicing at no additional cost. 」

「Property has that Lux appeal; large, open plan rooms, large pool. Hiwever, hidden is the Lemon. Poorly cleaned, inadequate & poorly matched kitchen utensils, heavily stained cookware no internal waste bins, dirty torn doona, greasy worn out bbq. The final straw, first time we use the gas cooktop, no gas and spare bottle is empty. Not forgetting the front security gate that wont close. Such a shame. A bit more maintenance and attentiin to detail, this could be a luxury escape.」
